A. Back ground:

A.1 how to remove blocks with Christianity

Up to last sunday, we observed how to form our life river with strong banks,and with high water flow. Last sunday we observed,THE IMPORTANCE OF REMOVING BLOCKS in order to have a good water flow. With holy mary we focus today- THE METHODOLOGY OF REMOVING BLOCKS!


A.2 Church declarations about Holy Mary

"IMMACULATE CONCEPTION" and dogma established on 8/12/1854.
On1/11/1950Pope Pius12,declared,Mary on completion of earthly life,assumed body& soul into heaven.



B. PREAMBLE FOR TODAYS READING!

B.1 WHAT GOD TOLD ABOUT MARY

 SHE WILL CRUSH THE HEAD OF THE DEVIL

Expelling Adam and Eve,God said to serpent "I will put enmity between you and women and between your seed and her seed;She will crush your head and you will lie in wait for Her"(Gen3,15).
In christianity, the woman and her seed is Mary and christ, crushing the devil in the person of serpent "Mary is the2nd Eve and by her devil will be destroyed!.The motif of the woman trampling serpent under foot was applied to Mary's Immaculate conception and Assumption, since Her freedom from sin was sign of total defeat".

Example of showing that HOLY MARY can control SERPENTS!

Sri lanka Madhu Church:

This Church is situated in a thick forest of 1000 acres out of that 350 acres are cleared for the pilgrims.
History reveals that Madhu statue which has been in Manthi(mannar)has been taken to present location during dutch persecution time. Fr Ferrao build the present church in1705. The thick forest was infected with many kinds of poisonous snakes.Upto now no snake or snake bite has been reported in the shrine!as guaranteed by Fr Ferrao(died in 1721) moreover the soil around(Madhu mud) the shrine is said to possess healing powers,especially to act as an antidote against deadly snake poison. The protective,healing & reconciliation functions of Mother Mary are beautifully realized in this forest Shrine!.


B.2. IMPORTANCE OF MARY?

Jesus gave 10 times as much of His life to Mary compared to His apostles!. If the mere touch of His garment could cure a women suffering with an issue of blood, then the human mind can hardly contemplate what 30 years of residence with Jesus must have done for Mary!After the years of companion with Philip,Jesus said to Him"Have I been with you for all these time & still you do not understand?"How much greater of an understanding of His mysteries He might there fore expected of His mother!, who was with Him during All His hidden life!.Though She doesn't seem to  have followed Him as the 12 apostles and some other women did all the way from Gallile to Jerusalem (LK8:1-3,MK15:40-41) she was with Him at the most crucial moments of His mission,in Cana & Calvary,which witness beginning & end of His ministry.

B.3- MARY'S EXAMPLE FOR US!

Holy Mary, never lost the trust for God, at any time. She obeyed God to bring Jesus as a human. She never complained that she has to deliver the baby jesus, in a cattle shop. She never uttered a word to God, when Herod was trying to kill all children under 2 years(she never demand God, to give heart attack to Herod!). She escorted baby jesus with Joseph to Egypt on back of a donkey. Around 2000 km, with 2 long years. She never told God, why He is giving misinformation, when they are coming back to Nazareth!. She never complained God, when child of 12 years were lost!. She never complained, when Jesus address her as" women" in three places!. She was never upset with God, when Jesus told her"who is my mother". She never utter a word to God, when Jesus dies on the cross. SHE IS THE MODEL OF CHRISTIAN TEACHING OF FOLLOWING GOD's WILL. Following God's will is the new concept introduce by Jesus!. Now there are NO MANNA, NO ANGELS WILL TELL YOU WHAT TO DO? NO DREAMS WILL GUIDE YOU!. MARY IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF SEARCHING GOD's WILL FOR YOU. THAT IS WHY WE ARE ALWAYS THANKFUL TO HER. WE DON'T ADORE HER BUT WE RESPECT HER. WITHOUT HER WE CANNOT FOLLOW JESUS PRINCIPLES WHICH GOD CLEARLY SHOWN IN CANA!

B.3 WHAT MARY DOES FOR US!

On 27/11/1830 Mary gave a Medal to Catherine(24yrs). Formed around her,written,"O MARY CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN,pray for us who have recourse to you"

Then MARY told 'HAVE A MEDAL MADE ACCORDING TO THIS MODEL,EVERY ONE WHO WEARS IT AROUND THEIR NECK WILL RECEIVE GREAT GRACES.FOR THOSE WHO WEAR WITH CONFIDENCE THERE WILL BE ABUNDANT GRACES!" By1842 more than 100m medals distributed.

Due to profusion of healing & conversions,MEDAL named 'MIRACULIOUS'. 2/2/1849 Pope Pius9 commence study "IMMACULATE CONCEPTION" and dogma established on 8/12/1854.

Within 4 years,on 25/3/1858 Mary confirmed her name "I AM THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION" to 14 year il literal Bernadette. A lady cannot have such a name!She repeated what she had heard to the priest!.From feb11to july16th/1858,Mary appeared18 times to Bernadette in Lourdes.

 BOTH CATHERINE AND BERNEDETHE UNCORRUPT BODIES ARE IN FRANCE.


B.4 AT THE CROSS JESUS HAND OVER US TO MARY. HOW SHE CARRY HER RESPONSIBILITY?

JESUS came to His public life at Cana thru' invitation of Mary. Also at the cross, Jesus handed over to Mary all of us!

That is why we receive many messages of Mary after Christ. When we consider last 200 years,church has approved 3 major apparitions.

St Catherine and Miraculous medal
In1833,Mary appeared 2 times&gave Miraculous Medal for us to wear thru' Catherine.

St Bernedeth and Lourdes!
In1858 Mary appeared18times to Bernadette in Lourdes requested our penance and pilgrim to lourdes

At Fatima
In1917 Mary appeared 6 times to Lucy(10),Jacinta(9),Francisco(7) & showed the mysteries(except luminious, which introduce by JP2 later),hell and how her immaculate heart is pierced for our sins!

B.5- MARYS SPECIAL ROLE FOR US IN REMOVING FEAR AND SORROW (BLOCKS)
IN OUR LIFE!

Last few sundays, we focused on how to develop our life river. How to make stronger our 2 banks ie. HEATH and GRAVITATION . Then how to take our river to start with a mountain, to have strong water flow.(Water flow is how you develop your soul).make it strong we learned that we should convert our talents to energy(multiflication of loaves), then last sunday we focused, about the guarantee given by God, that we can remove our FEAR and SORROW! Today we focus the methodology of removing fear and sorrow. God has taken Mary bodily to heaven. You cannot find her bones in this world!. At cana, God clearly shows us, that Mary's function for us is to look after our happiness(wine). For that HE clearly shows that we have to develop our river as explained up to now. MARY IF FRIENDLY WITH YOU, WILL GET TO KNOW YOUR FEAR AND SORROW, EVEN BEFORE IT COMES!. THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN LEARN FROM CANA!. She got to know that wine is depleting before the wedding masters. She intervene with Jesus to produce new wine, which is better than old!. In your water flow when blocks are coming She will intercede with God to clear such  before you know the blocks, if you are friendly with her!. How to be friendly with her? Or how to invite her to your life?

(1) Follow 10 commandments with no enemies
(2) Make your 2 banks strong
(3) Convert your talents to energy
(4) WEAR MIRACULIOUS MEDAL AROUND YOUR NECK
(5) PRAY DAILY INDIVIDUAL ROSARY

Remind us how much we should thankful to God, thru JESUS and MARY(holy family) for our Happy life!

Both readings: Paul reminds Us of new theory jesus gave us for our salvation/

Book of chronicals explain. How they brought the ark of God and set it inside which David has pitched for it/ book of Apocalypse explain about a woman adorn with the sun, standing on the moon. Both readings indicate the functionality of Mary's present role: To look after human happiness!

D. Conclusion:


D.1 Mary's Role in christianity!

To see meek & humble heart of Jesus look at Mary!.She holds a great truth of Christianity, as a piece of wood holds a kite! Children wrap string of kite around a stick and release string as kite climb to heaven!.MARY IS LIKE THAT PIECE OF WOOD. Around Her we wrap all the precious strings of GREAT TRUTHS OF OUR HOLY FAITH!-ex:Incarnation, Eucharist, Church. No matter how far we get above earth,as kite may,we always have need of MARY to hold the doctrines of creed together!. If we threw away stick,we would no longer have kite!.If we threw away MARY we would never have Jesus!.He would lost in  heavens,like our runaway kite & that would be terrible,indeed for us on earth!

D.2. No human can live alone. He has to interdependent with others to lead a happy life,where Judiciary & police plays vital role!.These 2 are not same!Similarly in Christianity,God has shown very clearly that Mary's role is to look after human happiness(Wine)!At Cana wedding,where she was invited She saw wine  depleting. Jesus did not create wine directly He ask to fill water(10 comms+charity,without loosing faith).They saw new wine is better than old. Water is essential for living, but Wine we drink only in happy occasions. If you invite Mary(by daily Rosary+miraculious medal in neck),She will intercede for your happiness with God!At cross,She has been specially assigned to look after human race!WITHOUT MARY NO CHRISTIANITY. We don't worship Her but only pay respect!

D.3 TREATMENT FOR SIN!

SIN is separation of GOD & alienation from LOVE!.But Mary lost God too!.She lost Him not morally but physically,during those endless 3 days when Jesus was only 12 yrs. Searching,questioning, knocking from door to door,pleading &begging,Mary came to know something on despairing emptiness of those who not yet found Christ!.This was the moment of her widowhood of soul,when Mary came to know how every sinner feels-not because SHE sinned,but SHE felt effect of Sin,namely loss of GOD & loneliness of SOUL. To every Soul who is lost,SHE can still truly address same words "SON,WE HAVE SOUGHT THEE SORROWING".If Judas is in Hell,it is because he deliberately turned his back on Mary,when he went out to hang himself.If he is in heaven,it is because he look from hill to"HILL OF CALVARY"he saw there mother with Jesus & died with his Prayer on his lips"MOTHER OF SINNERS PRAY FOR ME"

Lastly, if you invite Mary every day, you are assured a Happy life. She will intercede with
God, to remove your sorrows,fears and BLOCK those things to come to your life!

WHOEVER DESIRES THE FRUIT MUST GO TO TREE. WHOEVER DESIRES JESUS MUST GO TO MARY. WHOEVER FIND MARY WILL MOST CERTAINLY FIND JESUS!

Assumption of Mary THANKFUL CATHOLIC (15/8/2014) - in summary

"Eat food of earth and you die;eat Eucharist and you lives eternally"

She who is MOTHER OF EUCHARIST, escape decomposition of death.

Your experience are familiar with earthly law of gravitation which draws material bodies to earth!but when you get close to God you are subject to SPIRITUAL gravitation!.This SPIRITUAL PULL is always present,but only your refusing wills and weakness of body(due to original sin) which keeps you earth bound!.

If distance moon moves all surging tides of earth, then mutual LOVE OF MARY AND JESUS, should result as to LIFT HER OUT OF THIS WORLD.

To understand Assumption one should know, how it came. 3 steps

(1)with the introduction of miraculous meddle from 1830

(2)dogma established in1854 by the church

(3)confirmation of immaculate conception in Lourdes(1858), to St Bernedeth

 Last few sundays we focused the basic actions that we should follow to lead our life with Catholicism
(1) Keep your soul calm, not filled with ANGER,GREEDINESS,JEALOUSY!
(2)Develop your talents with God!, so that your talents will be converted to energy!

A.2 Transfiguration

Last wensday(6/8), we focused, about how to transfigure ourselves to know christianity in easy way! Know basics of what Moses & Elijah shown us, but keep in mind what pope Francis says!.

A.3. Old teasterment Vs Gospel!

 Pope Francis in His "The Light of Faith" para 15(part) says " CHRISTIAN FAITH IS CENTERED ON CHRIST; IT IS THE CONFESSION THAT JESUS IS LORD AND THAT GOD HAS RAISED HIM FROM THE DEATH(cf.Rm10:9). ALL THE THREADS OF THE OLD TESTAMENT CONVERGE ON CHRIST; HE BECOME THE DEFINITIVE "YES" TO ALL THE PROMISES, THE ULTIMATE BASIS OF OUR "AMEN" TO GOD(cf.2Co 1:20).

A.4.Transfiguration and catholic sacraments!

God has revealed about Jesus 2 times. One is at Baptism and other is at transfiguration!
So God tell us that you are "His beloved Child" at your baptism!. You are at ground level in a river!(On behalf of you, your parents+god parents witness). The second time HE tell the same, when you receive confirmation. You are at a higher elevation, on top of the mountain, with full knowledge of Catholicism!
As a catholic, others will see that you are shining, if you practice what Jesus said(10 commandments with no enemies+charity+keep your mind peacefull+follow God's will). Every sunday, you will be avail of His teachings!



B. Today,
We focus as about our blocks in our life!. Stones+mud developing in your water flow of the river!


B.1 Fear,sorrow & Disagreement:

God created you to lead a happy life. He created the world and saw it is good!. The original sin resulted to lead, unhappy life with fear, sorrow and disagreements. Jesus new method of teaching gives us how to mange these fears to reach HAPPINESS in this life too!.
Fear and sorrow can come to you from 3 sources!
(1) From your body
(2) From outside(society)
(3) From natural disaster

We are not aware what is happening inside our body, the intake to our body is from mouth(food) and nose(air), while the waste will be out putted from our back side and de breath from our nose!. Our cells in the body changes everyday!. When we are sick, the doctor will treat us. We trust him and take the medicine. Similarly when the soul is sick(specially mind) we need a divine doctor to clear our fear!
Today's world, Number of varieties for us to choose is ever increasing, due to advancement of science, challenging ability to choose!. Hence disagreements between one person to another is ever increasing under the present paradigm!.

B.2.  I am correct, He is wrong:

In our personal freedom, disagreement increases due to (1) many choices(2)personal conditioning(3)difficulty to judge which is correct!
If we are not train to ignore the disagreement at the very minute level,(try to drop like water drop, slip from a lotus leave), it will add up(like a sponge absorbing all water) make your disagreements similar to a pyramid upside down!. Your mind will be burning like a bush fire causing to have  anger. A minor disagreement become a major mountain!

HENCE OTHER THAN PHYSICAL DISEASE, ONE SHOULD TRAIN HOW TO QUENCH ANGER FROM THE FIRST STEP ITSELF. Pardon not only 7 not 77 but 777!.
At the same time, if other person is causing disagreement, catholism allow us to get the support of Mary & saints to resolve that. Gospel says if anybody ask you to carry 1 mile, carry 2 miles happily. How? By handing over your fear/unhappiness to Mary and saints, and carrying out the action happily(THIS IS APPLICABLE ONLY TO YOUR PERSONAL FREEDOM)

B.3. Blockage of the flow of water of your river!
Last few sundays we focused how to develop the 2 banks of your river and how to increase the water flow of the river by taking the starting point of the river to a higher location!.
Bank 1 health:
do enough physical exercises with drinking more water
Bank 2:
worldly attraction: balance your money, power and worldly desires with Jesus teaching. Don't get anger(no enemies)/don't judge others(no greediness)/
Develop spiritual friendliness with Mary, Joseph and saints similar to worldly friends!.

IF YOU DON'T DEVELOP BANK 1 AND 2, YOUR RIVER WILL BECOME LIKE A LAKE WITH MUD AND UNPLEASANT SMELL.

Once you develop two banks, now think  about taking the river start with a mountain, by converting your talents to energy, which we analyze last sunday!. IF YOU ARE LAZY YOU CANNOT DO THIS!. Jesus warn us with the story of cursing pig tree!.

When there is good water flow, with good two banks, water will flow to sea if there are no obstruction in the path of the water flow. Normally there are obstructions to reduce the water flow! This is coming from original Sin!. We have to face for these obstruction. We should not loose our faith!. There are many examples in our christian history, where people have face blocks, but their perseverance help them to clear the blocks and face HAPPINESS. One such example is conversion of Augustine:


St monica(331-387)(mother of Augustine) prayed around 20 years to correct her son St Augustin(354-430). Finally she achieved, God removed her fear & sorrow, after 20 years!

C. Today's reading:

Paul says"..my sorrow is so great. My mental anguish is so endless....,Christ is above all"reminds fear,sorrow & disagreements are ever present in your life deriving from original sin!.

Mt14:22-23 says"COURAGE!IT IS I!DO NOT BE AFRAID "reminds that God is with you,specially at your difficult times,provided you don't loose faith!.your life is similar to a river.2 banks represent your health & Happiness(by controlling worldly desires).Water flow is how U develop your soul. By converting your talents to energy,you will start your river from a mountain,to have a good water flow,to sea(heaven).There can be stones, blocking on the path of water flow, representing fear &sorrow in your life. You can remove these blocks,handing over such to God thru' Mary/saints!.
Book of kings says"STAND ON MOUNTAIN BEFORE  LORD". Reminds If you have not tested by fire U don't know who you are!

D. Conclusions:
Our life river has to be maintained to have a good water flow. The 2 banks are related to our life in this world. Water flow is related to this world as well as "life after death" eternal period. Water flow is analogous to  SOUL(mind + free will). There are 3 major aspects to consider in maintaining our river.
(1) Maintaining the 2 river banks properly. In order to do this, it is important to develop a peace full mind(without anger,greediness) in our life
(2) To have a good water flow. The river should start from a higher elevation, like a mountain. We should not be lazy and always try to convert our talents to energy.
(3) We should know how to be remove the blocks in the water flow!. To day Jesus says"DON'T BE AFRAID". Always we know that God will look after us!. If God is with us do we want Mary, Joseph and other saints to intercede on behalf of us!. What does Jesus has shown us to do? What God wanted us to do?. We will discuss this on next reflection of august 15th- Assumption of Mary

Transfigured Catholic (6/8/2014)

Moses(1526-1406 B.C) and Elijah (875-848B.C) adoring Jesus,has shown to his. Favorite disciples PETER, JAMES and JOHN (in32AD)at mount TABORE. Jesus face shown like Sun & His garment became white as snow. Voice of God once again declared Jesus as His only Son!.

Moses on sinai,has received OLD COVENANT,while JESUS received NEW!. Elijah too have received many special signs of intimate confidence of God!.

These 2 prophets,similar to Jesus has ended their earthly life,without their bones in the world.

There was a strong resemblance between miracles of Jesus to Elijah, people thought that Jesus is Elijah himself returning to earth. Jews believed that Jesus called on Elijah for assistance at the cross!.

LAW & PROPHETS were represented by these 2 prophets. If you want to Quickly understand Catholicism,learn about their lives,with 4 Gospels!.Then you will transfigured to lead your life HAPPILY,as anticipated by God in creating you!.

Mt14:13-21says"..All we have with us is 5loves and 2 fish..,Bring them here to me..They all ate as much as they wanted &they collected scrap remaining12basket full. Those who ate numbered about 5000".

Earth,water,air, sunlight &food are basic needs for us to live!.Only food you have to earn while all other needs are given free!.

Flow of water has to go to sea, without any leakage(sea is similar to heaven,hence your soul will go to heaven!or hell like lagoon!). 2 banks of the river are the discipline you maintained (from breathing) your physical body & how to balance worldly requirements(from gravitational force) of Money, Power & desires.
Last month(July) we focus as how to build bank of a river in managing worldly desires!. Main leak of this bank is stemming from how you control anger, how you control judging others, how to maintain a cool mind!.

Last sunday gospel(Mt13:44-52), the concept of river further elaborated. Why jesus gave 3 examples about heaven?
"Kingdom of heaven like treasure in the field..." - CONCEPT OF WATER FLOW
"Kingdom of heaven like merchant looking for fine pearls..."- CONCEPT OF HEALTH BANK
Kingdom of heaven like dragnet cast into the sea that brings haul of all kinds.."
-CONCEPT OF BALANCING EARTHLY GRAVITATION.

B.2 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HUMAN, ANIMAL AND COMPUTER

We are now living in a computer age!. We love animals. Hence it is important to analyze the basic difference between these 3, for our own happiness! Here we will analyze the basic elements that we need to live. BASIC ELEMENT MEANS WITHOUT THAT YOU WILL DIE!

(1)There are 3 living beings in this world. Human,animal & trees. All these 3 needs 5 basic elements earth, water,air, sunlight & food. Human needs one more element- fire. NOT love,shelter etc

(2)Equivalent to FIRE, human is having a MIND. Similar to FIRE, the human Mind can be used for good or bad purposes.
Similarly,the computers having Soft ware. Hence computer is more powerful than ANIMAL.

(3) The obvious difference between human & animal is, that Human is doing work for a purpose, while an Animal is doing work without any purpose.

(4) The obvious difference between HUMAN & COMPUTOR: Human is having a FREE WILL(the ability to choose) where HE can laugh,cry, dance.... Many things
Where computer cannot!

(5)ANIMALS work to instincts, Computers work to programming where as HUMANS work to FREEDOM.

(6)A human can behave easily like an ANIMAL. If he carry work for Bad purposes.

(7)HUMAN CAN BEHAVE LIKE AN ANIMAL BUT ANIMAL CANNOT BEHAVE LIKE A HUMAN

B.3 Live person

Energetic person is a live person, who enjoyed his life and lead others to enjoy their life.
How to convert talents to energy?
You are build with form and matter. Matter is your body, while the form is your mind and free will. Your mind and free will is called as soul. Hence to enjoy your life it is important to keep your body and soul healthy.

How to keep the body healthy?
We know 75% our body contains water and it depletes when you work. Always drink water(not fruit juice). At least 2 liters/ day, of water if you drink, the depleted water can be supplemented. Your body is made out of bones and joints, if you don't do exercise these joints will not work properly. Hence at least 20 minutes/ day stretching exercises is needed to allow these joints work properly. A least 210 minutes cumulative  exercise per week is needed for your body to work properly.
If your body is not working properly, how can you enjoy your life? How can you become energetic? If you have pain in your body, de bar for you to enjoy your life.

B.4 IS MULTIFICATION OF LOAVES HAPPENINIG IN OUR SOCIETY?

Mostly we cannot understand how jesus fed so much of crowd with little food. HE NEVER ASKED GOD TO DROP"MANNA" RATHER HE SEARCHED FOR AVAILABLE RESOURCES! Under normal circumstances we cannot think about!. But when we go thru' history we find this is possible & even this is normal with the assistance of God!.

An example:

MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING!(MADD)
CANDY LEITNER, complained to legislators that a convicted drunk driver with a prior history of DUIs killed her teenage daughter and walked away un scratched
She doesn't just take her grief home and
Cover it up, She organized the group of mothers called MADD and set the media fields on fire!. She held press conferences. she passed out red ribbons. she formed support groups. she gathered statistics and make changes to legislation's to punish the DRUNK DRIVERS!. This change came not from politicians but from one women!

SO LAZINESS WILL HAMPER TO ACHIEVE GOOD HEALTH. YOU SHOULD CLIMB THE HILL TO START THE RIVER!


C. TODAY's READING

Mt14:13-21 says"...All we have with us is 5loves and 2 fish..., Bring them here to me.....They all ate as much as they wanted,and they collected scrap remaining 12 basket full. Those who ate numbered about 5000 men,to say nothing of women and men.

This miracle clearly shows that God will not give Manna now & that man can do all things in the God who strengthen him!

Paul reminds Nothing can come between us and the Love of Christ!.
Issaiah remind us with Jesus we have path to Eternal Happiness.

D. CONCLUSIONs!

You can get practical teachings to manage YOUR FREEDOM as well as YOUR LIFE which is analogous to a river!.

Always freedom means what you ought to do and always subject to law!. Hence your freedom will consist of 3 parts(1) EXTERNAL(2)INTERNAL(3)PERSONAL. Government law will be your external freedom, while as catholic your internal freedom, will be practicing 10 commandments with no enemies. Your personal freedom has to be surrended in search of God's Will.

Your River has to have good banks(no leaks) with good water flow to sea. This sunday we focused how to increase the water floor by taking your river to start with a higher elevation. That means your inborn talents to be converted to enery to serve the society. When you climb up you always go against the gravitation. A LAZY PERSON CANNOT DO THIS. When you climb like this ihe society will see MIRACLES while you enjoy HAPPINESS!
NEXT SUNDAY WE WILL FOCUS, HOW TO REMOVE THE BLOCKS IN YOUR WATER FLOW. This is very unique only to CATHOLICS!
