33 sunday(16/11/2014) Lazy Catholic - in summary

Today Gospel gives the primary action of catholism- don't be lazy. Gospel set 3 examples. One can logically analyse, that only 2 examples are logically enough to explain the outcome of the parable!. But Jesus has given three. Why? 1 talent-punishment, 2 + 5 talents- reward
He guides us to reach happiness in 3 steps!(1) NOT TO BE LAZY,develop PEACEFUL MIND (laziness gives you to develop anger)(2) reach WORRY FREE SOUL(following 10 commandments with love)+ handing over your worries/fear/ sorrows to Holy Mary+saints(3) reach HAPPINESS(chasing away other 5 vices)

Book of proverbs talk about perfect wife. Paul says"we should not go on sleeping"
Second and first reading summarises that your active life(without laziness and anger) will lead you to enjoy the good qualities of wife(Bride Christ)
Mt 25:14-30 says"..one He gave 5 talents,another 2,last 1..in proportion to his ability..man..5..made5more..man..2.. made 2 more. But man..1hid..master came..everyone who has ..more..and have more than enough,but man who has not,. will be taken away.." reminds that your unique creation with Talent And body is to enjoy TIME happily.

For that convert your talents to energy.When you have energy, you can easily help another person with your energy, you feel happy in your mind! That your talents become some service to the society!

THE PROCESS INVOLVED is given in this sunday reading

Laziness is main vice same as hiding your talents.

This will lead to achieve Anger easily. Primary aim of Catholism is lost if you have these 2 main vices,leading to unpeaceful mind.
You can develop your' talents by following 10 comms+having worry free mind,by handing your' fears& sorrows to Mary/saints.(2nd stage)

lastly you  have to avoid other 5vices,Pride,envy, avarice,lust,Gluttony to follow God's will. God guaranteed more Happiness(no fear/sorrow)to them.Role of Mary/saints in helping the correct path to follow:

The role of Mary has not been properly formulated by catholic church until 1950. All the other christian denomination, UNFORTUNEATLY have not studied in this aspect. Role of mary at cana and at the foot of the cross, clearly indicates, GOD IN HIS WISDOM HAVE SHOWN US TO GO TO MARY FOR OUR HAPPINESS as an intermediary with HIM. Further this has been enhanced from Miraculous medal 1830, visions of Lourdes 1854, dogma establish on Immaculate conception 1854, vision of Fatima 1917, dogma on assumption of Mary 1950. Finally the 2 saints involved St Catherine and St bernedeth, availability of 2 un corrupted bodies(which there is no scientific al reason) tells us the truth of this story.

You need special energy to follow the above 3 steps given in today's sunday reflection. For this intervention of mary and saints are essential! As requested by Holy Mary, to invite her into your life you should follow 3 major action
(1) wear miraculous medal,
(2) recite daily Rosary,
(3) hand over your worries to her.

32 Sunday (9/11/2014) Passionate Catholic- dedication of the Latern Basilica - in detail

A. Back ground:
From last few sundays, we were reminded about catholics mission statement- Love. Then we were reminded about the value of inter dependency, when we live- we cannot live along, we need another persons support. We love them and we experience their love towards us. This is what we experience in a happy life and it is earth bound. Similarly Catholicism has developed a beautiful process to identify spiritual friends,so we studied about how Holy Mary and saints can help us to relive our fear and sorrow.
(This is in accordance with god wish)Immediately after that we were reminded about purgatory, how practically we are going to remember our loved departed parents and friends, thru' our prayers and sacrifice to relive them to heaven. Till we die, we are not sure whether our loved ones are in heaven. So purgatory allows us to discipline ourself to carry out good activities such as prayers and charity on behalf of our loved departed friends,like our parents. This is a beautiful,ethical and practical training one can lead to identify the love of God. Catholic church officially canonized very few persons, whom Pope identified that they are in heaven with God for sure. For last 700 years only 4 popes have canonized in this way. Few canonized person to sainthood, does not mean that very few people go to heaven. It is setting an example for us to read the character of most heroic person, to be spiritual friends to our life, while we will not forget our beloved loved departed friends. ONLY CATHOLIC CHURCH IS HAVING A VERY GOOD PROCESS FOR CANONISATION, AND CONCEPT ABOUT PERGATORY, WHILE OUR DEPARTED OTHER CHRISTIAN DENOMINATION DOES NOT HAVE. Recently we heard canonization of John paul II and John XXIII, april 27 2014. We will further we will hear the canonization of Bl joseph vaz!.

A.2. Today, it will further allow us to contemplate more on how to develop our life with good values, avoiding 7 vices, to lead a happy life. Jesus remind us how much value a human being, and showed us that we should be careful of developing earth bound assets,without spiritual, the famous story of chasing all merchants near the temple.
Here Jesus is not showing us He is in anger. When you go thru' all the paragraph, you will notice
(1) Your body is not simple, it is created according to the God's image- wonderful temple- more than the physical major catholic Basilica of Latern
(2)You can enjoy your life by developing passionate commitments: ex Elija/nelson mandela. Catholic method of achieving that in 3 steps
(3)Unless you start wiping by your own effort to curb vices, your temple is going to be impure and lead you for a sorrow and fearful life. Importance of sacrifices
(4) Temple will be destroyed with death and in 3 steps(analogy days)it will be recovered ie death, purgatory and heaven, for those who follows the God's will.

LATERN BASILICA
It ranks above St Peter's.This palace has served as residence of popes around 1000 years. Between 4th& 16th centuries 5 ecumenical councils & 20 synods were held in this basilica. Since 12 th century this has been known as St John Latern, in honour of St John the Baptist. Outstanding relics (1)of St peter & St Paul,enclosed in silver busts(2) portable wooden altar which St Peter used (3)the sacred table of last suffer on which the Blessed EUCHARIST instituted by our Lord are placed here.

Physical temple has been symbolized by the Latern Basilica of Rome. The 1st of 4 Basilica in Rome!, which indicate the human is much more valuable and complex in nature than the basilica!.

A. MAIN PARTS OF YOUR BODY

In short, human body main components can be Heart, Brain and Mind. You need basic element food(6 elements for humans/food,water,earth,air,sunlight and fire) for you to live alive.


FUNCTION OF HEART
When you eat, the food will become blood and circulated through heart to you whole body for you to live.

FUNCTION OF BRAIN
Brain carry out orders from mind. Hence brain is the interface between mind and human body

FUNCTION OF MIND
Mind is the thought factory. You select a thought out of many thoughts file up in your mind, carry out action through your brain. Selection process is called your free will.
MIND and FREEWILL form THE SOUL.
GOD WILL NEVER INTERFERE WITH YOUR FREE WILL.

YOUR MIND WILL DECIDE WHAT IS TRUTH FOR YOU,WHILE YOUR FREE WILL DECIDE WHAT IS GOOD FOR YOU!

B.1.1  FURTHER ANALYSIS OF YOUR BODY TO STAY ALIVE

The function of the human body is to stay alive. What does the human machine need to stay alive? The important parts when we expand further are:
(1)Body
Brains,heart,hormones,genes,motor skills
(2)Mind
Consciousness,sensation and perceptions, including vision,hearing,taste,smell,touch,balance and pain.
Thinking: which mange attending, remembering,forming concepts,problem solving,deciding and intelligence
Communicating including verbal and non verbal expressions such as body language,gestures,speech and language
Motivations
Emotions
(3)Personality
(4) Gender and sexuality
(5)Social skills and relationship skills

B.1.2  To treat human body, there are many doctors, reminding us about the complexity of the subject. One doctor cannot identify all the functionality of human body.

B.1.3  OBSERVING THE ROLE OF OUTSIDE WORLD
Brain's do not work and mind do not think in a vacuum. Behavior and mental processes are embodied within a context that includes other people and things in the environment in which people live. (Interdependent society)The social aspect of the human will depend upon Parent-child relationship, families, communities and culture. Technological advances make our world a smaller place and different cultures come into contact with each other more often than ever before, making a person's social life increasingly complex. B.1.4 NATURE verses NURTURE debate

Consider a professional athletes, those elite performers who are lucky enough to get paid to play games for a living. How much luck do you think is really involved?. A common misconception about professional, elite athletes is that their natural raw talent accounts for their success. Yet anyone who has worked with or known one of these individuals will tell you that hard work has a lot to do with his subject.
SO WHICH IT IS? TALENT OR HARD WORK! NATURE Vs NURTURE. INBORN ABILITY Vs LEARNING and EFFORT.
Nature refers to the concept that behavior and mental processes are innate,inborn, and hard wired and will unload over time as a person develops and her genetic blue print is revealed. Nurture refers to the idea that behavior and mental processes are not inborn and instead are learned from the environment in which people live.
Both these perspectives have their proponents.
John locket, 17th century British Philosopher believed that given the right learning experiences, a person can become anything in life. On the other hand Charles Darwin, nature advocate, believed that a persons destiny is found in his biology and genes.
The simple answer is that both nature and nurture impact a person's Behavior and level of success.
PEOPLES CHARACTER ULTIMATELY DEPENDS UPON(1)RELATIVE CONTRIBUTION OF INNATE BIOLOGICAL INFLUENCES and (2)LEARNED ENVIROMENTAL INFLUENCES.
Only God knows the proportions!

There is another concept followed by most of church going catholics. They think, Holy spirit will provide all facilities, without striving hard to achieve the purpose by themselves. They exercise their Laziness,(major vice) for their own convenience to witness an unhappy life!.

B.1.6 MAIN ELEMENTS FOR THE BRAIN TO WORK !

 86 billion neurons live in the human brain and form trillions of connections among themselves. BRAIN IS MASSIVE COLLECTION OF NODES IN A WELL CONNECTED NETWORK. How information is kept an process in the brain, remains the focus of incredible amount of Neuro science researches!. Still researching! Here the forming brain network is different from one person to another person. Their mind set what is truth depending upon this networking. Then they act what is good for them thru' their free will.

B.1.7  BRAIN CHANGES
Neuro plasticity: brain can change it's size and connections through out a persons life time. Hence brain neural networks and connections are continually reorganize and it is not fixed!. After 7 years the whole system becomes new. Depending upon your life pattern. God can influence this system to control our body!except the free will. This is how you can influence your friend through prayer via saints to God. God will change the wrong networking connection of your friend through various method allowing him to experience. All are resting on your friends his free will. If he is fully conditioned it will difficult even God to change but definitely God will safeguard His genuine followers!


B.2. BELIEVING IN A CREATOR!
Believing a Creator does not violate science. When we analyze human body, it is clear, that it is an intelligent design. This cannot come from nothing on it's own!.Only from a Supreme Being who is not confined to TIME and SPACE can create something out of nothing.

B.3 GOD'S PATH

God gave us an intellect to seek the truth- be it scientific, philosophic, or theological truth. FAITH and RESONS are not competing forces but two sides of the same coin. When modern man realizes that he needs both natural(earth bound) and a spiritual wisdom, and earthly knowledge is not contradicted by spiritual knowledge, then he is on the road of the fulfillment!.

B.1 Vices:
You can easily follow Christian principles. Catholic means universal. That means it can be applied any where in this globe without any difficulty, whether it is a cold country or hot!. The major laws to follow is given below. (You will see these laws does not interact with food, what you should eat. There are no restrictions on food, clearly shows the application is universal!).
(1)Follow 10 commandments with pardoning
(2)Have a peaceful mind without anger
(3)Hand over your fear and sorrow to Mary and saints- if anybody ask you to carry 1 mile carry 2 miles happily, with the intention(a)if it is coming from Bully(satan),request to correct your friend(b)if the instruction coming from God,allow you to correct yourself(c)don't argue with your friend and always don't keep any resentment out of that action).
(4)Convert your talents to energy
Once you follow the above rules, you are going to convert PEACEFUL MIND TO WORRY FREE MIND. Without your knowledge you will develop vices, vices are the analogy of market of your life, jesus showed the importance of wiping out these vices.

7 vices
Out of 7, 2 vices namely anger and laziness are major, where you cannot practice catholism for a peaceful life! NOW YOU ARE ELLIGIBLE FOR HEAVEN.
 Even with peaceful mind you can develop the following 5 vices! They are sloth,lust. envy, gluttony. This is equivalent to market place around the temple which leads you to purgatory!. For this kind of person(most of us)God said he will re establish total happiness in heaven thru' 3 steps.
DEATH,PURGETORY, HEAVEN!


Pride; it is too great an admiration of oneself. Pride has 7 evil consequences: boasting, love for publicity, hypocrisy, hard head ness,discord,quarreling and dis obedience. When all these 7 evil inclination grow in our dealing with God and neighbor,THE DEVIL BALLOONS OUR PRIDE TO MAKE US LOSE EVANTUALLY TO OUR OWN EGOISM.

Avarice: is lead us to be greedy,and ends up with fraud,perjury,dishonesty,perfidy and harshness, in dealing with others. Avarice further leads us to desire and covet things that we should not. This behavior can affect all the 6 goods: NATURAL,TEMPORAL, SENSORY,MORAL,SPIRITUAL and SUPERNATURAL. "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs the kingdom of God"

Envy; envy start demanding,"WHY SHOULD NOT I HAVE EVERY THING THAT OTHERS HAVE?". We are envious of another's goods and jealous of our own. DEEPLY ROUTED JEALOUSY CAN LEAD TO LOSE HEALTH BOTH PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL. Paul says Love is not jealous or envious.

Lust; It is a dis orientated love that seeks not the other but personal individualistic pleasure and satisfaction in everything we do. Lust excludes all personal consideration for the sake of sen sate experience. Lust leads to exploitation of oneself and others or things for our own glory, satisfaction and pleasure.
The pleasure seeking attitude in life cannot help us to partners with God. The desire for pleasure is good thing in life. Life would be sap less without it. What is dangerous is  inordinate craving for it. Jesus advocate a life that is simple. He is conscious of the dangers of riches and money.

Gluttony:
This flows from the dis orderly animal appetite, the obsession with food and drink to the point of living to eat, rather than eating to live.

(2) Hand over your worries to saints, have a worry free mind
(3)Avoid other 5 vices: to lead a passionate life


D. Conclusions:

Elija
Elija told the non-believers, he would prove that there is only one God by asking God to rain down fire from heaven to consume his sacrifice. He said"IF GOD DOES NOT HONOR MY PRAYER, THEN YOUR GODs ARE REAL and YOU CAN KILL ME.". He cut up his sacrifice into many pieces and laid it out on the altar. He then poured water over it to eliminate any doubt as to the source of the fire. Then surrounded by hordes of his potential executioners he called to the heavens" OKAY GOD, PROVE WHAT YOU SAID".  Fire immediately came and consumed the sacrifice right before their startled eyes. This is COMMITTED LEADERSHIP.

NELSON MANDELA

Nelson Mandela did not become a leader for BLACK FREEDOM,because he was handsome and charismatic. He forged his influence across world by making time in JAIL and walking down lonely roads. More than 20yrs he sat in prison,refusing to compromise his commitment to FREEDOM-because he believed it was not just an issue for himself,but for all people.

Catholism lead you to enjoy your present life with passionate commitment. It clearly gives 3 stage path
(1) attain a peaceful mind
(2)lead a worry free life
(3) enjoy your life according to your passion!

Purgatory (2/11)

Back ground
Catholics believe that there is a purgatory to cleanse our sins, before going to Heaven. They believes,though Protestants not, that our dead friends may still languish in Purgatory.
Council of trent declared that souls of purgatory are assisted by prayers and alms of faithful and specially so by the Holy sacrifice of the Mass.
Souls in purgatory being unable to help them by themselves or one another, depend solely on the supplication of saints in heaven and of faithful who are still on earth, to satisfy divine justice and so shorten their detention in purgatory,where they must expiate their venial sins and suffer the pains due to their sins,whose guilt, indeed, has already been removed but for which there still left a debt of temporal punishment on account of imperfection in repentance.

2.  What is purgatory?

What is purgatory? How long a soul does purgatory last for a soul?only God knows. Old test 2 maccabees 12:43-45 gives some reference.

3.  Recent example about purgatory:

 On the first apparition of Fatima, when lucy(10 years) asked from Holy Mary, where Amilea? Holy mary answered" She will be in purgatory until the end of the world".
That was in 1917 may 13 at Fatima.
1st and 3 rd apparitions give you more understanding about purgatory and the value of sacrifices(go against earth comforts) which is connected to understand more

Lucy,jacinta& francisco saw Mary(1 time) on13/5/1917,at mid day.

PRAY ROSARY EVERYDAY to obtain Peace for world and end war. Note: world war1,started 1914, ended1918.
seers had started to wear a thick rough cord around their waist for penance.They did not remove even night,which often prevented them sleeping whole night. Mary informed them in 5th apparation in september, not to wear the rope in night, so that they can sleep

3rd Vision of Fatima(13/7/1917) to 3 children

Initially Mary told seers to pray daily Rosary and promised for a miracle in Oct,requested to make sacrifices for the sinners. Seers saw Hell.Demons& souls of human shapes,submerge in fire,devils stood like frightful unknown animals with horrible and disgusting shapes. If it were not mary's promise to take them to heaven,seers should have died of fright and terror!.M:you saw Hell,where the souls of poor sinners go!To save them God wishes to establish devotion to My Immaculate Heart in the world!.If human do not stop offending God,another worse war will begin to punish world and future pope has to much to suffer,Consecrate Russia to my immaculate Heart&communion of reparation on1 saturdays,for the peace of world.

note: despite WorldWar2came 1939/1945killing more than15m people,
Russia was consecrated in1952/7/7 by pope Pius12,
Pope st John Paul II was injured in1981/5/13,
communism was demised in1989!

4. Certain SINS that can be committed mostly without our knowledge!

 When we follow major laws 10 commandments with no enemies and manage our disagreements with other people,(without anger to develop in our mind)we can have a peaceful mind.

Even with Peaceful Mind, you cannot follow God's Will, if you mind is blocked with fear and sorrow.

Fear and sorrow's of human!

 Human woe's comes in 2 forms-spiritual and bodily. That is suffering in the body and sorrow in the mind.
 Bodily suffering can be trivial or tremendous, passing or permanent, merely  inconveniencing or totally incapacitating. They can range from headaches and cancer to hernia and hideout injuries apt to arise from accidents.
Spiritual sufferings on the other hand, wound us inwardly,and can do so in ways and to degrees quite as wide ranging as the bodily variety. Here we think of things like worry, loneliness,fear,disappointments, bereavements.

Connection of sufferings to Jesus

Interior suffering like these transform the garden of soul into a little Gethsamene, while the bodily kind look to calvary as their crowning summit.

Scripture says of the Lord who so lovingly endured everything that Gethsamene and Calvary could inflict on him."Son of God though He was, He learned obedience in the school of suffering"(Heb 5:8). OBEDIENCE BASICALLY MEANS OUR LOVING ACCEPTENCE OF GOD'S WILL. This is the paramount lesson we pupils in life's school of suffering are to master at all cost.

A further key lesson in the syllabus is that every suffering, whatever it's shape or size,really forms the part of the penalty that the sins of the world, our own included, justly deserve for having offended the almighty Creator. Indeed that crucified pair who flanked our savior on GoodFriday can be said to represent all of us, since everyone without any exception hangs on a cross carpentered by life's circumstances. But we must at all cost identify with the good thief by saying to the crucified Lord"WE SUFFER THESE THINGS JUSTLY ON ACCOUNT OF OUR SINS" (luke23:41). Yet another key lesson is that we can offer our Redeemer every sorrow and suffering that comes our way as a coreredemptive contribution to the salvation of souls.

For the sufferings,as mentioned above, we should train ourselves to hand over such to Holy mary/saints and try to forget the suffering,so that cheerfulness can be maintained. This is the God's direction through Jesus to us. At Cana, when wine was depleted Mary intervenes first with Jesus. At the cross Jesus hand over us to Mary.
If you cannot hand over such suffering and become cheerful, it will become sin,as you cannot accept the God's Will.

Also once you are cheerful, you may get the God's Will, but not accede to Him, if you  developed 7 vices in your body. This too become a sin. So with or without our knowledge we commit sin, which can lead us to the Purgatory!

5. Love and inter dependency

Then we are capable to love another!.
To understand God loves you, you will see there are many in the society loves you, as well as you love them too. Good example is your parents!. Love involves time, money & your heart. Just telling that I love you, will not help if it is not connected to your heart. For the eternal reason God has shown us, how our parents loved us or how our sisters/brothers loved us, when we were child. When we become adult this will change to identify the God's love for you. Unfortunately we are lacking to understand the change over.

Inability to follow God's will is sin, can lead to PURGATORY after your death. If you make traffic offense,it will lead you to pay fine and become free again. May be to show eternal reasons(1)you are prune to sin(2)you can free again, after the period of purgetory

6. Inter dependency of your life and example of purgatory

                 

​To live always you need another person support. You respect your parents/friends who supported to make your  life happy. Once they depart you still love them by using your God given(assets) TIME,SPACE &ENERGY to relieve them from Purgatory.
If you use such time,space,energy(ex alms giving,free teaching etc) without love, you end up in 7 vices,only cheating your self.(7 vices are anger,sloth,pride, envy,avarice,lust,gluttony) And not achieving the purpose of relieving your parents/friends from Purgatory.

Instead if you carry out with  honest love for them, result in a mirror image of your love to God,your creator!. This will lead you  to follow God's Will,to enjoy Happiness in your life even after death too.

In summary Purgatory, allow us to lead good practices in carrying out charity and sacrifice for the benefit of the society, where we do these things are in gratitude for the goodness received by our parents and friends to lead our life happily. Concept of purgatory lead us to discipline ourself.

7.  HELL IS FULL OF TALENTED PEOPLE AND HEAVEN IS FULL OF ENERGETIC PEOPLE

Every person in this world is born with talents. Your life will become cheerful when you convert your talents to energy. Question is how to convert your talents to energy. There are 3 points to achieve
(1) You should be in good health- drink plenty of water, do exercise with a peaceful mind
(2) Happy: follow your religious principles, to enjoy happiness
(3) Efficient: world is ever changing. Now we are traveling with cars, future we will be travelling with helicopters!.earlier we used letters, now we use intelligent mobile telephones with e mail, internet, face book etc. If you don't use the present day technology, will hamper you to convert your talents to energy. Always try to see the the positive side of the technology by not dis carting those.
 If you carry out above your talents to be converted to energy to be used by the society!.

8. Enjoy your life/ achieve Happiness

To enjoy love in christianity or any other religion, you should (1)first have a peaceful mind develop without fear and sorrow(2)you start to love respectfully your parents and friends, without expecting a return(3) you convert your talents to energy(4) remember your departed loved parents/friends, carry out charity to relieve them for eternal happiness.

The concept purgatory is very useful for us to carry out actions in above(4).
Only catholics have developed a good process to identify saints and it preserves the same concepts about purgatory!

9. Why most of other christian denominations are silent about purgatory
Most of our separated betherans, departed from 1000 AD to 1530 AD, with Orthodox,Protestants and Anglicans. Main cause of separation was not a theological issue but mainly either leadership or political issue. Though church remedied certain errors immediately with pope Pius V, already separated friends were not reconciled with catholic church and they were moving separately.
Any religion in the world, teach a path to lead your life happily (both here and after death). In this process, the treatment for fear and sorrow in the present life plays a vital role.

In christianity God clearly shows 2 major concepts:
(1) He send His beloved son thru' holy family(still judaism don't believe)
(2) Treatment for fear and sorrow always thru' Mary and saints(most of the other catholic denomination pay less or no attention)

(3) Existence of purgatory!

Catholic church has developed a beautiful process of canonization and purgatory, for the people to be reminded the need of spiritual inter dependency and extend our love to beloved departed thru' various charitable activities or sacrifices, to discipline the living and support the departed.
Unfortunately our departed friends from Catholicism, have not developed such process but they have departed from canonization and purgatory, where it is of paramount importance to practise it.

Conclusion

Canonization and purgatory are 2 process to help us to lead a disipline practical life. Practical realisation can be summerised as below:
(1) Interdependence- in this world we are grateful to our parents/friends who helped us to lead our happy life.
(2) We know that everybody is prune for sin. Hence our departed loved ones may be in purgatory
(3) Purgatory is a temporary place of suffering, until the soul goes to heaven. The Lord will decide how long a soul should be in purgatory.
(4) The living can offer charity and sacrifices to relieve their beloved souls from purgatory
(5) Purgatory practically combines living to departed(dead). Starting point to think the spiritual friends thru' our loved departed ones
(6) Canonization is a beautiful process to identify the dead person is for sure in heaven. The living can easily make a spiritual friendship with saints, whom sometimes saint has lived during his life time, has been heard about him.
(7)Canonisation and purgatory conceptually combined together for us to train ourselves, to enjoy the beauty of christianity. Beauty of God's plan, our creator to lead our life happily!
