We celebrate Archangel Gabriel's announcement to Mary,that she was to become,by power of the Holy Spirit, mother of long awaited Redeemer who would,by a reparation of infinite merit,atone for the innumerable injuries committed by our rebellious human race &so redeem it."I salute u Mary! You abound in grace. The Lord is with you and you are blessed above all women on earth".

Our free will is the only thing that is really our own. Our health,our wealth,our power-all these God can take from us!.But our Freedom He leaves with us, even in hell. Because Freedom is our own, it is the only perfect gift we can make to God.

The lady who sang Magnificat did it. It was the only birth in all the world that was truly willed and, therefore, truly Free.

Mary is the Lamp

Mary thru' troubled and puzzled at the annunciation of Her Virgin Motherhood with it's personal and social implications, displayed un conceivable courage and determination in making a daring decision. She was brave and ready to take risks for GOD's cause and for MAN's redemption!.She consciously consented to PLAN OF GOD in faith,resulting many troubles!. She didn't reveal to JOSEPH her husband,who was surprised to see her FREGNENT. "Let GOD'S Will be DONE" She was actively co-operating.

 Later She left to visit Elizabeth to be confirmed of GOD'S PLAN and to confirm Her own active involvement for redemption! Mary's faith,which was strong enough to move mountains,grew ever stronger and purer as she advanced on her pilgrimage down the years seeing daily ever deeper into divine truths she treasured in Her heart(cf:lk2:51). JESUS IS THE LIGHT,MARY IS THE LAMP.

This feast is dates back to the great council at Ephesus in 431,when Our Lady was officially proclaimed the "Mother of God".

Cycle 2: Season: Lent, Sunday No 5: Date:22/3/15; Glorified Catholic - in detail

A. Back ground:
 last 4 sundays we were reminded the value of fasting, value of regulating Will, as a catholic value of following 10 commandments(specially Bowing Down only to God), value of not craving too much to earth bound needs such as Power,money and desires(specially avoiding 7 vices-Anger,sloth,pride,lust, envy,avarice,gluttony). Today we were reminded the result of following all above 4, you lead a happy life- specially your effects of sins, in creating your fear and sorrow in your life, will be washed off by Our Lord.

B Preamble for todays reading:

B.1. Happiness and living, is it two things?

Water we need to drink everyday. 75% of our body contains water. We need to replenish water every day. Wine or alcohol we drink only for happy occasions, not throughout day!. So Happiness and living are 2 things. To drive your life you should be happy.
Jesus in His 1 st miracle clearly showed us
(1) Depletion of wine has been seen by Mary though Jesus was there at that wedding
(2)Jesus did not multiply wine, without filling the jars by the wedding manger
(3) New wine multiplied by Jesus was very much superior than old wine, which has already been served.

This clearly showed
(A) follow new message- Christianity
(B) you invite Holy Mary into your life, to reach your happiness(wine),for her to intercede on behalf of you with God.
(C)following 10 commandments/not having enemies/avoiding 7 vices/ following God's will for you- resembles water and you should strive to adhere to these points in your life, in order for you not to Sin.

B.2. Effects of Sin
Every living human in this world will face fear, sorrow, disagreements, unhappiness while leading their life. Your unhappiness may be different to my unhappiness. Every religion in the world, says, that Sin leads to unhappiness in your present life and future lives.(even after death). Similar to unhappiness, every human will sin in this life. Certain religion says that effect of sin, you cannot erase, hence fear and sorrow will come at any stage of your life(present or future). Karmic effects they speak. But christianity says' when you follow and lead your life according the principles given, the effects of Sin will be washed off from your life. In other word God guarantees, that you will lead a happy life.

Example of a satellite:

A geo stationery satellite stays 10000 km above earth. This satellite moves at the same speed and same direction of earth. You need rocket+other ammunities to send this satellite to geo orbit.GE0 STATINARY SATELLITE IS STATIONARY WITH RESPECT TO EART AS IT MOVES IN THE SAME DIRECTION AND SAME SPEED OF THE EARTH. This resembles, that if you want to see, the matters as it is in earth, you should elevate yourself to the Geo stationary orbit. In lent first few sundays you are advice what to do; main things are that you should not have anger + laziness to be developed in your life. 1/3 of the weight of the satellite is oil. What for, due to various gravitational effects towards earth, this geo stationary satellite tends to move lower orbits towards earth. The equipment of the satellite, identifies that it deviates, and start firing thru' the oil it has stored for tracking. Then only satellite will move in the geo stationary orbit. Similar to this phenomina, you should take your life to the geo stationary orbit, to see the worldly things clearly by your self( by avoiding anger+laziness), you should develop oil in your satellite by avoiding 7 vices in your life with following 10 commandments). Then only you start noticing that your deviation from the geo stationary orbits, when you lead your life. Under such time, you should have developed enough oil,in your satellite to burn for tracking.
YOU ARE LIKE A SATTELITE. YOU SHOULD GO TO GEO STATIONRY ORBIT TO SEE THE EARTH MATTERS PROPERLY. WHEN YOU ARE LIVING YOU TENDS TO DEVIATE FROM GEO STATIONARY ORBIT TOWARDS ANOTHER ORBIT TOWARDS EARTH, MAKING YOU TO ROTATE MORE SPEED THAN THE EARTH IS MOVING. YOU SHOULD DEVELOP A GOOD TRACKING SYSTEM, IN ORDER FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR DEVIATIONS. THIS IS A LIFE LONG EXCECISE, TO EXPEIRNCE HAPPINESS, LIKE A SATTELITE MOVING EFFORTLESSLY IN A GEOSTATIONARY ORBIT.(HAPPY). CATHOLISM IN A NUTSHELL CAN BE PARTLY EXPLAIN THROUGH THIS GEO STATIONARY SATTELIE MOVEMENT.

B.3 life is Dynamic!
The cells of your body is everyday changing. Similarly technology you used everyday changing. Hence your living is everyday changing and LIVING BECOME DYNAMIC. Your character is always changing. Under this dynamic character, you may become unhappy at present and happy in past or vice versa. Unless you change your character to match to this dynamic situation, with the behavioral rules given by God(10 commandments+pardoning+follow God's Willn, you might start sinning and unhappiness start growing. That is why certain other religions say" life is sorrow".
In order to have happy life catholism support in 3 stages;
(1) Have a peaceful life(without anger+laziness)
(2) Have a worry less mind(handing over your worries to holy mary+saints)
(3) Happy mind(avoid 7 vices) to develop cheerfulness in your life.

C. Todays reading:

D. CONCLSIONS:

Eveybody in this world wants to live happily. When you are mentally and physically satisfied you are happy. In order this happiness to maintain through out in your life, Catholicism guarantees a shortest path. When you follow Catholicism, you will attain happiness, and you will see God says to you" YOU ARE MY BELOVED SON"

Cycle 2: Season: Lent, Sunday No 4: Date:15/3/15; blind catholic - in detail

A. Back ground:
During lent, we are invited to look thru' our life, and improve our behavior for our own happiness.

During lent: we start FASTING- remove toxin in our body; REGULATING OUR WILL- train to regulate our desires, to achieve good health, where normally we cannot control.(Resisting short term urge, to achieve long term benefit). All these 2 things are generally good to be practices irrespective of any religion, to lead a healthy life. Last sunday we further analyzed the value of 10 commandments to be practiced,(as given by God), for our good behavior(to enjoy the freedom). There we note that we should BOW DOWN only to God not to any other person or things. Today, we are reminded that without our knowledge we will crave on to earth bound needs and justify ourself(Excuse tic- excuse for not to do a thing), though we are going against God's rule and Will.
In happiness you float in air(mind), just to show that you fly, by balancing gravitation.

B. Pre amble for today's reading:

B.1- Our main activities of life and connection to shadow TRINITY

When you are born, without your knowledge, you do the following 3 things:
(1) Start breathing: you breath average of 21000 times/day until you die
(2) You start to walk on the ground, you stop this when you die
(3) You start developing your mind, try to communicate with other people/ try to develop the ability to choose. This appears continuing even after death

All these 3 actions in your life represent shadow Trinity;FATHER-happiness(above 2 how you control your earth bound desires), SON- behavior(above1), HOLY SPIRIT- knowledge(above3).

Also you note that all these 3 you start developing without your knowledge.

Breathing you are doing, to organize your behavior- 10 commandments in catholism.
Walking you are doing, resembling the attraction of earth bound needs such as Money, power and worldly desires.
Developing your mind resembles your happiness. How much you can go against gravity.(Fasting,regulating your will, charity,doing exercises etc)

B.2 Catholic Freedom:

Freedom is defined as what you ought to do NOT what you can do!.Hence human freedom is always subject to law. There are 3 types of freedom. External- government, internal- religious, personal- matters lying in between government and religious freedom). As catholics our law is 10 commandment. You should know how 10 commandments came. It derived from Exodus 20:2-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21

St Augustine(354-430A.D), bishop of Hippo, was the first to assign numbers to the ten commandments. There are slight variations of 10 commandments, with one christian denomination to another!.

B.3 Shameful practices!
Without our knowledge, we adhere to shameful practices undermining God' law. Last sunday we observed in deutronomy- that we cannot Bow down to anybody except God. When this has been translated into catholic law, we say worship only to God. Unfortunately, we bow down to our parents,teachers,elders and respect to Eucharist! Without our knowledge.


C.Today's reading:
Book of Chronicles says(2 ch 36:14-16. 19-23)" ..head of the priesthood..added infidelity to infidelity, coping all the shameful practices..de filing the temple..ridicule messengers of God..their enemies.. set fire to all its places.."
Paul says(Eph 2:4-10)" God..Generous with His mercy:when we were dead..He brought..Christ..through grace..you..raised..with Him..We are God's work of art,created in Christ..live good life.."
John says(3:14-21)" the son of the man must be lifted up as moses lifted up the serpent..God sent His son..not to condemn the world..men has shown they prefer darkness to light..deeds were evil..hates the light.."
Readings warn our church, about how to teach and set examples to humans about Jesus messages. In this regard the example set and the efforts made by Pope Francis is highly appreciated. Also readings focused and remind us, by practicing Catholicism, you can be happy even in this world. This is by regulating your earth bound needs and avoiding 7 vices in your life.(Anger,sloth,pride,lust,avarice,envy,gluttony). These vices you cannot avoid if you don't believe for all your actions and results are subject to God's decision.



C. Conclusions

Fasting(40 days),regulating will(transfiguration),worshiping God(10 commandments+removing 7 vices), are the subjects,we reflected on the previous 3 sundays. Today readings invited us to reflect importance of controlling earth bound needs, to have a happy life. money,power and earthly desires are main attraction towards earth. We need all these 3, but craving to these will make us to stay on earth and cannot lift like Jesus! Making you Unhappy!. That is why it says you cannot serve God and world at the same time!

Normal tendency of life!
When you become adult you are responsible directly to God for your all actions. Dependency from your parents will be shifted to God from the adult hood!. The real effects of gravitation you will be experiencing by your self. Money,power & worldly desires were haunting you to be developed by yourself. As a young person you will realise that you have talents(energy),Time but not money. When you lead middle age, you will realise you have money,energy but no Time. When you move to old age, you will have money,Time but no energy. These are the general pattern of life. But if you want all these 3 basic things to be maintained throughout your life, what is the method that you should follow?. Catholism gives you the basic path!.

From the young dates itself train your self to avoid Laziness and Anger. In order to do this, you should learn yourself how to curb laziness and train your self, how to accommodate others(without ruining yourselves), without developing Anger in your body!

Today's readings Reminds benefit deriving from catholism cannot be realised(1)without regulating your Will, against worldly affairs(2)carry out fasting for your health(3)aware about basic difference of Catholism against Judaism(4)find God's will to you. Otherwise it will result 'Blind leading blind' causing UNHAPPINESS to all,for your selfish motives. you?

A. Back ground:
Last 2 sundays of this lent, we identified the need to fast, for our own health & happiness.(Identify clearly the difference between fasting and starving). In doing fasting we have to regulate our will. In order to do that we have to first understand the christian belief that God has created you to lead a Happy Life. Also we should be clear, that human cannot provide all solutions to the problems/disagreement arising in this world, where only God can provide. Through your life experience and knowledge, you should be able to convince your self about these 2 factors. Once you are convinced you will Bow Down to Nobody other than Eucharist!.

To day reading sums up to leading
(1)your behavior according to 10 commandments
(2)your life according to God's Will
(3)avoid 7 vices(Anger,sloth, lust,pride,envy, avarice,gluttony)
(4)Bow Down(worship) only to Eucharist.

Catholicism believe God is creator of world &guides destiny of each person,WORSHIP to be given God.

B. Preamble for to days reading:

B.1 Is there any uniform method to know about God!
All humans are different to each other. This is with respect to their physical and mental character. Similarly, human will get to know about God, in different methods, connected to their different experience.

God spoke through prophets, similar to train humans in reaching to Him. Also HE forecasted the arrival of Jesus. Around 1600 years before to Jesus, He gave 10 commandments, the rule to follow. When you get a rule, it is easy for you to enjoy your freedom. Freedom means what you ought to do, not what you can do. Always freedom goes with a rule to follow!. Then God send HIS beloved Son, to show the path to reach HIM, through same law+message of Love. Before to Jesus God was direct, but after jesus' resurrection God became indirect, the method to reach God has completely changed!. Hence the message of God may reach you in different ways! May be through life experience,accident or sickness etc


B.2Difference between respect and worship

Both humans and animals who are known to think and reason out, think highly of certain things, be it material or be it ideas, over others. Higher the things they place over others more value and more important it is over others. With this comes in, Regard and Respect, terms more associated with non-material things. There are so many ways whether humans or animals show their regard and respect. As an example, in Asian societies students stand up when the teacher enters the class.
Higher the regard and respect for the entity the manner in which the respect is shown is greater and it follows that the entities which is valued highest is regarded and respected highest and such show of respect is the highest.
In populations where they believe that a certain entity is the creator of the world and/or that entity in facts guides the destiny of us all such entity gets the highest respect and the highest show of such respect can be termed as worship. There are prescribed methodology of worship depending on the social agreements of such population.

There are populations which pays the highest respect to persons who are deemed to have found the way to emancipation. Such discoverers are also worshiped by such populations.

Clearly if there is no respect or regard then there can be no worship.

Therefore in short worship is the highest form of showing the highest respect. Respect is in the thought. Worship is an action.

Hence to worship God, one should be clear that
(1) He experience the importance and value of God to his life
(2) He should acquire enough knowledge to be aware about his own life and it's dependency towards God!.

B.2 10 commandments:
10 commandment is the basic rule given in the Christianity.(Catholic version)

(1) Thou shalt have no other Gods before Me
(2) Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain
(3) Keep holy the Sabbath Day
(4) Honor thy father and mother
(5) Thou shalt not kill (means only HUMANS)(reason: 10 commandment exist before to JESUS, during that time one of the method of WORSHIPPING GOD was, slaughtering of animals, spreading of blood over the offering table.)
(6) Thou shall not commit adultery
(7) Thou shall not steal
(8) Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor
(9) Thou shall not covert thy neighbor's wife
(10) Thou shalt not covert thy neighbors goods

Note: Observation: there are 3 parts, com 1- 5 God & you, com 6-8 deals personal to you, com 9-10 deals with you & society.

Is there any prescriptions, for the matters  which fall outside 10 commandments?. A vast area, where you can experience God's will towards you lies in this area. If any body ask you to carry a load for 1 mile, carry it 2 miles happily. Is one example. One should train patience,handing your fears and sorrows in this area. Major difference in Catholicism lies in this area!.

B.4 THE LIVING OF FAITH: THE TEN COMMANDMENTS:(Morality)
Articles 1691 through 2557 of the catechism of catholic church looks at all 10 commandments as the spring board for moral teaching and ethical behavior for the believers. There is a difference in numbering between the ten commandments cited by the catholics and Lutherans and the once cited by the other protestant traditions. The Bible itself never assigns a number to any one of the 10 commandments. They are listed twice in the scripture, in Exodus 20:2-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21
The Bible does not number the commandments, who did and how? REMEMBER, it was not until 1205 A.D that sephen langton, archbishop of Canterbury, divided the books of the Bible into chapter numbers, and it was another 350 years(in 1555 A.D) before Robert Stehanus the Bible chapters into verses. The original texts were written with no chapter,no verse, and no punctuation.
St Augustine(354-430A.D), bishop of Hippo, was the first to assign numbers to the ten commandments. Because idolatry is the worship of false gods, he presumed Exodus 20:4/Deuteronomy5:8("Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image") was just a continuation of Exodus 20:3/Deuteronomy5:7("Thou shalt have no other God's before me"). In other word they belong in the same paragraph.
Origen and some Greek fathers of the church saw injunction against graven images and idols a separate commandment from the one forbidding worship of other Gods. This point of view would become the position of the Anglican, Calvanist, and Presbyterian churches. Hence, both systems counts the same first commandment as the same(no false Gods) but the catholic-luthern numbering(thanks to Augustine) counts number 2" Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain" where as the other system numbers that commandment as number 3. And it goes on, each one being one number different from the other until the very end. Then it is catch up time. The catholics-lutherens system divides Deuteromomy 5:21/Exodus 20:17 into 2 separate commandments, number 9 being" Thou shalt not covert thy neighbor's wife" and number 10 being" Thou shall not covet thy neighbors goods". The anglican-calvanist systems keeps them together as number 10.

All readings reminds (1) basic foundation of christianity start with 10 commandments(2) worshiping of God is primary rule(3) with Jesus same rule remains with the change of operation from 'eye to eye' now offer your other cheek(4) with christianity, you have to search for God's directing trusting that he leads your life happily(5) importance of chasing away 7 vices residing in your life(6) allow God to lead your happy life, trusting that he is your sole source of happiness(7) after you are happy, transfer that happiness to the society.

D. Conclusions:

Fasting and regulating 'your will' is the major discipline that you have train your self, in order to have healthy life. This is irrespective of any religion. You will see even non christians, if they develop good health is having a disciplined life with regard to food and with regard to morality. Today for catholics, the starting point of Christianity
(1) to know how christianity develop
(2)what are the basic law to follow
(3) with jesus what is the change enforce. Jesus guaranteed easy method of achieving happiness. Today is the first theory lesson that you will get to know to lead towards that Happiness!
