Palm Sunday(20/3) Rehabilitate Catholic - in summary

In your life do you need rehabilitation?

Our original sin has caused us to attract towards sin, during our life. From your birth, you start (1) breathing(2)learning(3)attract towards earth bound needs,(gravitational pull) such as money,power+desires. With or Without your knowledge you tend to sin. First you have to identify sin, then you have to make remedial action, if possible correct the physical damage caused by sin. There can be 2 damages your sin has caused(1)society or some other person
To suffer and (2) your worries+fear to increase in your life(spiritually).

 Our life swing from 'sin less' state to 'sin' state. Catholism provided a process, how to rehabilitate your life to sin less state, and progress positively in your life. The process followed is Confession. You have to meet catholic priest, and confess with him, to get your sins absolved.(Effect of sins nullified). Only catholic church has this tedious process, still practice, as directed by Holy Spirit: just go thru' Jn 20:23 for you to further, understand, the catholic process!

Can Catholic believe rebirth?

Why confession become important.
If you want to progress in your life,don't postpone today's work to tomorrow. Similarly, the spiritual damage of your sin, will do harm spiritually to you. You have to clear it as quick as possible: sometimes you can think,after your death you can clear it. Catholism says(1)after death you will be either in heaven or purgatory or hell. Purgatory/hell,U suffer and you are help less. (2) no re births, so that you have to clear your sins during this life-since resurrection of Jesus clearly shown, that you can clear your sins, only during this life-knowing what is your sin. When you believe your rebirth and karma, you are trying to clear the effect of your sins without knowing what is your sin!.(3) only Jesus christ has risen from death. No other human has risen from death. No death person has ever come back.

How to identify sin?
Catholism identified sins very clearly. Lot of people think sin is going against your conscious. This is questionable, since without identifying your sins and rehabilitate by yourself, you tend to CONDITION YOUR SELF, that certain sinful activity in your life as correct.
So identify rules clearly.

Only Luke gospel gives, the total picture of thieves, who died, alone with jesus!
All other Gospels doesnot give full picture
as Luke. Previous sundays , you might have seen, that, we reflected, about erasing our effect of sins, so in this sunday, it clearly gives the continuation, by showing, God can clear your sins,during this life too. Provided the conditions are satisfied.

Can you erase effect of sin,during this life too!- what is the advantage?

Christianity does not have much relation ship with clearing your sins, with alms giving or doing good. It is a reciprocal process.
(1) Identify your sin
(2)repent for that
(3)determine not to repeat
(4) Pardoned all enemies, who has sin against you
(5) Confess with a priest
(6)Carry out penitent proposed by Priest
(7) Forget your sin

Lk(22:14-23:56) says "On the cross/One criminal mocked Jesus/Aren’t U Christ? Save your rself & us/Other spoke& rebuke Don’t you fear God? Jesus when in kingdom, remember me/”Indeed U'll be with me in paradise".

A) your life swings from left to right, like thieves at Golgotha.When in trouble, if you BLAME GOD you are like 1st thief or Ones who love God, identify sins, recover life with CONFESSION like 2nd thief.

(B)To erase sin &gain complete forgiveness,Have a confession,with Priest!

the outcome of having sacrament of confession-HAPPINESS. Our whole life swings in 2 states, (1) sinning- due to earth bound desires (2) confession- getting pardoned for our sins and have spiritual happiness. More and more confessions means you are focusing to catholic ethics+ try to follow God's Will. Hand washing confession(without going to a priest) tends to lose your focus on Ethics, without your knowledge, you move like abusing God.

When every thing goes well towards earth bound needs, you love God, but when there is a hik up, you start blaming and doubting God.

(C)Today people praise God, but within a week they crucify him, showing how much we'r prune for sin. U?

Conclusion: Christianity main slogan is God will erase effect of your sins, during this life too. For that a clear process is proposed by Jesus(refer Jn 20:23). Only catholic church following this process. Hearing confession is one of the important process, carried out by catholic priest. Without which you are liable to deviate from mercy of God!

Cycle 3: Season: Lent, Sunday No 5: Date:13/3/16; forgotten Catholic - in detail

Back ground:

 During lent, normally first 2 sundays are similar in readings in all 3 cycles, (though, Gospels readings are of different writers). From 3rd sunday readings,differ, until palm sunday!. Palm sunday, Gospel readings will be different to others(similar to first 2 sundays). This palm sunday, Luke exceptionally tell, about the forgiveness of sins of the thief who was crucified with Jesus. That is why, we have to concentrate about pardoning, forgiveness, and confession of Catholicism,starting with 3rd sunday of lent up to Good Friday.

First 2 sundays of the lent, reminds us, that when we want to know about God's Kingdom(how to use our free will to be happy), we should read Bible,with the correct concept of creation. Then 2nd sunday, you will see that your life, has been led by God(transfiguration). 3rd sunday, you will see, that you lead your life pro actively. You realize the presence of God, in all your actions. You were invited to reflect sunday readings(3 year cycle). 4 th sunday, you were informed that your life is swinging from grace to sin(prodigal son),due to earth bound attractions. B.1.Hand Wash Or Dry Clean?

When your cloth is unclean with stains,you have 2 options.
(1)Clean your self-may not remove strong stains & probably will leave a shadow of stain.
(2)Use a CLEANER-he will remove all dirt(germs/& all stains)of your cloth &get it to shine as it was brand new.

It is sinful to go against 7Ethics of Catholicism (10 comms,7 sacraments, avoid7vices, practise7(each{Corporal+Spiritual Mercy's}+church rules.

Prodigal son said to his father "I have sinned against heaven & you". You can say the same to a priest,so that he will clean your sins. A Dry-Cleaner is equipped & trained to clean,which you are not avail of.

You don't have to worry about priest's sins as that is Holy Spirit's job. God assured that Priest can GIVE US SACRAMENTS,in addition pope is infallible for faith+moral issues (WHATEVER YOU BIND ON EARTH,WILL BE BOUND IN HEAVEN-Mt16:20).why other non catholic Christian does not have this?their priest?..

In the parable of prodigal son, elder son represent hand wash-he was with father/he thought he is sin less. His character shows us

(1)hand washing his sins, without his knowledge

(2)he is jealous about his younger brother-

undermining that God can forgive any sins of any human, provided the stipulated conditions for pardoning is satisfied. This represent dry cleaning.
Father (of son/catholic priest) has been trained how to remove sins of his son on behalf of God. This is main function of catholic priest, in addition affording other 6 sacraments (Baptism,communion, confirmation, matrimony,holy orders, last rights)

Early church,other than most of apostles,all priest were unmarried. Next 1000 yrs,this practice has became law by pope Gregory VII,(in11 Century).
On other hand,Once you are married-"A MAN LEAVE HIS FATHER &MOTHER &BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE.2 WILL BECOME 1BODY.".
When a priest is married&hear confessions, he will have a problem about confidentiality!.(It will be difficult to manage home business)

WHY OTHER CHRISTIAN DENOMINATION's DOES NOT HAVE, CONFESSION PRACTICED BY CATHOLIC CHURCH?
In 16th Century,With formation of Protestants by luther,Celibacy of clergy is1st to go out-Luther,(former)catholic monk,married(former) catholic nun. Then with them,Sacrament of confession practiced by catholic church,also went out, since their priest are allowed to marry!.

basic magical factor in Christianity, with the sacrament of confession, nullify effect of sin. This is the essential difference between civil law & spiritual law. Government law is made to safeguard civil society to be peaceful, while spiritual sacraments, makes YOU to be peaceful. Ex: if I kill a person & really repent & have confession. I will be relieved spiritually from that sin & priest who heard my confession cannot divulge the crime to civil society. Only between 3 persons it is strictly confidential(penitent,priest+God). This confession doesn't have any connection or excuse to evade civil law.

Conclusions: there are 4 major points you can reflect:
(1)Catholicism have very clear 7 sacraments. These sacraments has to given only by Catholic priest. Out of 7,2 sacraments are matrimony and holy orders. In matrimony, you have additional responsibility to look after your children, while in Holy orders, you have additional responsibility of providing sacraments to laymen. These two functions cannot be combined together and are mutually exclusive. That is why catholic priest cannot marry.
(2)When you are going against to 7 catholic ethics+church rules, it is a sin. Guilt of your sin you can easily erased, with, catholic confession.
For that,
You have to
(1)be really sorry about your sinful act+
(2)determine not to repeat+
(3) forgive sinners, who has sinned against you+
(4)confess to a catholic priest
(5)follow his instruction, to clear your sin!, are the primary conditioned needed to have a proper confession.
(6)Once you have completed the confession, you have to forget about your sinful act, and lead your life,as that sinful act that you have not done!

Catholic confession is a strictly confidential matter, between the Penitent and Priest. No body can divulged any sins to any body. Priest will not identify who is the penitent. There is no abiding with spiritual forgiveness to civil punishments. These 2 are mutually exclusive. Civil law will maintain peace of Society, while confession maintain, spiritual peace internal to you.

A. Back ground; previous 3 sundays, church invited us to reflect
(1) importance of knowing the concept of Catholicism-purpose of your creation
(2) your life has to be lead with 7 Catholics Ethics and with adhering to the laws of the church
(3)you should surrender your will to God's will and convert your talents to good attitude, to be a proactive Catholic. Proactive means you will,see and realize God's hand in all of your actions.

B. Preamble for today's reading:

B.1 why confession needed?

Principle behind confession is, you, your self analyze, with respect to catholic ethics(+church rules), where you have gone wrong, feel sorry about that, get discussed with catholic priest, then get it pardoned from God. Priest will act as an intermediary with you and God,and assure you, God has pardoned your sins. Sometimes it is better to be alone because it gives you some time to be who you are. After the confession, You can enjoy mindfulness peacefully.

B.2 Is priest a must?
Even today Gospel, prodigal son says" I have sinned against heaven and you.."
Here you will see, father has pardoned him, representing God!. Say, you have stolen Rs 200,000 from A. B has stolen Rs 300,000 from you. You feel sorry about your action and confessed to priest. Your sin will be absolved. But if you don't pardon B, for his sin, absolve of your Sin, is going to be questionable. The beauty and magical thing of Catholicism is, when you pardon B for Rs 300000. You have lost 100000. Who will give you that?. God will provide that may be not money wise. Similarly, you may not have money to repay rs 200000 for A. When you have the confession, God will see that A, will be benefited!
SO CONFESSION AND PARDONING INVOLVES RECIPROCATIVE FUNCTIONS!, where for your wrongful action, God has to do many work!

B.3 can you live sin-less life?

When you jump up,always you are fallen to earth!. This is due to gravitational pull towards earth.(But when you jump in moon, you will not fall,but float). Similarly, you have earth bound temptations, which you may sin, due to the fact, that you are imperfect person. So always we have to be watchful, about our sins,and get it pardoned thru' a priest,who gives you a guarantee about God's pardoning to you.

You are prune for sins!

Take example of communication satellite!
 You can connect your telephone to any telephone in this globe with 3(Geo- stationary)satellites placed,over earth orbit(10k/km over earth,where any element place in that orbit,moves in same speed and same direction as earth).
Though theory says,it automatically moves in this orbit, due to various conditions,satellite goes out of track, hence you need to put back to track. This will be done by firing oil,that is stored,in satellite,which is 1/3 of weight of satellite.
Similarly,due to earth bound attractions, you tend to deviate from God. You need to put it to correct track,which needs firing of oil.

Hence during this lent,regulate your will to go for confession+fasting+mercy work+why not specially go thru' MERCY DOOR'



B.4 Door of Mercy is very rare occasion, that you can receive indulgence for your sins, in your life time. This type of occasion, church offered was year 2000(jubilee) and next occasion is normally in 2025.  Earlier door of mercy was established only at St peters basilica. This extraordinary jubilee year declared by Pope Francis, has extended the location not only to St peters' basilica, but to most of shrines in world+ few churches. Why few places?
More indulgence are multiplied the less they are esteemed. What is offered abduntly are not sufficiently appreciated. U need considerable time to prepare your self properly to gain PLENARY INDULGENCE:
Don't miss this chance!


B.2 catholic saline
Saline is given directly to bloodstream  (intravenously) to patients who are too sick to take orally. Saline contains water& salt in optimum concentration needed for  body to function properly.Similarly2 sacraments, Eucharist+confession,will give U spiritual strength to lead happy life. When God is present everywhere,do U need to go to church or need to Confess your sins to another human (priest). Could not we confess directly to God?;

Ans:

(1)When air is everywhere, do U need a fan?

(2)When another human says,"I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY of effect of your sins absolved by God".are you relieved?.

 You cannot convert a piece of bread into Holy Eucharist,neither you cannot unilaterally absolve your sins without a priest. You are not worried about character of doctor,who gives you saline;Similarly you should not worry about priest,who gives U these sacraments. Holy Spirit, formed church. HE will manage priests!.

 Hand washing of sins are not a sacrament of catholic church. You can hand wash your cloth, but strong stain cannot be removed from that(you get a stain mark), but in dry cleaning, you use a third party to clean your stain, he will use more strong detergent to clean, so that you will get stain less, shining cloth, similar to original cloth.


B.3 indulgence
-taking away of temporal punishment due to sins when their guilt has already been forgiven. Indulgence is special action of  church,when pope decreed that certain works which were suitable for promoting common good"COULD REPLACE ALL PENETENTIAL PRACTICES"&when you are genuinely sorry for &had confessed your sins &done such works were granted,to complete forgiveness for your sin. Pope Francis has declared(rare occasion)DOOR OF MERCY until 20/11/2016.

To gain INDULGENCE
(1)go through door one time per day.
(2)person who is going thru' the door is only eligible to receive indulgence.
(3)He/she can offer that indulgence to release holy souls in purgatory
(4)After confession you should live in state of grace,20days are given to fulfill the ritual.
(5) Just after going thru' door, you have to pary for the intention of pope(our father+holy mary+glory to be)

Mercy doors are establish in every cathedral+major shrines such as, in srilanka madhu,matara&Hiniduma+few churches


B.4 difference between civil and religious law.

In religious law, you identify your weakness direct, with respect to 7 Ethics of Catholism,+chuch rules then confess thru' priest, with God.
In civil law, police will identify where you have gone against the law, and put up a case. Judge will decide who is at fault. A society will become matured with adhering to religious law. Catholicism, guaranteed that the effect of the sins can be washed off, with, proper confession. YOU GET PARDONED TO YOUR SINS, WHILE YOU FORGET OTHERS SINS, TOWARDS YOU!

Reminds:
(1)You tend to be church going,following all ethics & hand washing your Sins(without going to a priest)like elder brother(who thought he is sin less because he is with father)

OR

(2)careless about sins,all of sudden,you feel trouble in your life &need God then go for confession!like younger brother.

 Your life is swinging from these 2states.

Avoid hand washing sins,direct with God,which dilute,depth of your sin&in long run, you will  end up with easy life,only by having Eucharist,without difficult confession,but NO HAPPINESS!

Conclusion:
You should not pry into the faults of others. You should not look for things done and undone by others. You should see what you have done and left undone. This is not an easy task. The catholic confession allow

Hand wash Catholic sunday 6/3/2016 - in summary

Can't you convert bread and wine into blood and flesh of Christ?

Do you want to tell your sins to another human a priest?

What is the difference between hand wash and dry clean?
Strong stains you will not be able to remove, by hand wash. But in dry cleaning, 3rd party(cleaner). Use strong detergent to remove all stains, and you get your cloth, with original shining!


Today's readings:

1st Reading-Joshua says(Jos 5:9-12)" 'LORD to Joshua “I've taken the shame away from you/They ate the produce of Canaan & had no more manna'.

2nd Reading-
Paul(2 cor 5:17-2) says'In Christ, there are new creations. We are ambassadors for Christ'.

Gospel reading: Lk15:1-3:11-32-Parable of Prodigal Son/Man with 2 sons/younger son went away/wasted all money on a life of sin/ate pigs food/realised his father's servants have more food/Went home/his father kissed him/father celebrated with a feast/Elder son heard music&dancing/was angry.

Reminds:
1) You go to church & follow all ethics (like elder brother). But you hand wash your Sins (without going to a priest)
(He forget that he is also prune for sins-He appears to be hand wash his sins)
OR
2)You are careless about sins & all of a sudden your life's in trouble & U need God (like the younger brother-try to dry clean). Then you go for confession. - 
Your life is swinging from these 2 states. Confessing your sins directly to God, dilutes the depth of your sin & in long run, you will end up with easy life by having only Eucharist, but NO HAPPINESS, without difficult confession!

Like Geo stationary satellite we all are prune to sins(attract towards earth bound desires!)
U can connect your telephone to any telephone in this globe with 3 (geo stationary) satellites, placed over earth orbit (10k/km over earth, where any element moves same speed as earth).
Though theory says, it automatically moves in this orbit, due to various conditions, satellite goes out of track, hence U need to put them back to track. This will be done by firing oil,that is stored,in satellite,which is 1/3 of weight of satellite. Then only you will see satellite automatically travels thru' earth orbit(you follow God's will)
Similarly,due to earth bound attractions, U tend to deviate from God. U need to put it to correct track,which needs firing of oil.

During this lent, try to dry clean your sins by regulate your' will to go for confession+fasting+mercy work+why not specially go thru' MERCY DOOR'

Conclusion:

Catholic saline:

Saline is given directly to bloodstream (intravenously)to patients who are too sick to take orally. Saline contains water & salt in optimum concentration needed for body to function properly.
Similarly Church provides 2sacraments; Eucharistic & Confession,which will give spiritual strength for a happy life. When God is present everywhere,why do we go to church or confess our sins to a human (priest).Couldn’t we confess directly to God?

Answer;

1)When air is everywhere do we need a fan?

2)When another human say"I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY of the effect of your sins absolved by God" are you relieved?

-you can't convert a piece of bread into Holy Eucharist,neither can unilaterally pardon your sins without a priest. You are not worried about the character of a doctor who give U saline; Similarly you shouldn't worry about the priest who gives you these sacraments. Holy Spirit formed church. HE will manage priests!
