Back ground:

We started liturgical cycle 3 from 29th november 2015. Then followed advent and Christmas seasons,before coming to Ordinary season part (1).we stop ordinary season(part 1),on 7/2/2016 (5th sunday) ,to start lent season. After easter we celebrated 4 feasts. Ascension,pentacost,holy Trinity,corpus christie, to come to this sunday.
We will be following ordinary season until 20 th November 2016:Christ king feast to end cycle 3 of liturgical cycle.

Today is the first sunday of ordinary times(part 2). We have covered 5 sundays,(in part 1 of ordinary time) up to now. All these 5 sundays, church, invited us to reflect (after 5th, why we started,from 10th?/because,the 4 feast after easter, we consider as ordinary sundays)

BASIC PATH OF CATHOLIC LIFE
(1)Adult catholic life will be commenced from Confirmation, you become a professional
(2)God,at Cana,gave us 1st lesson-always treatment for worries,come to HIM, thru' Mary&saints(new wine),while U lead U'r life(filling with water), following 7Catholic Ethics.
(3) Ethics are{10 comms+7 sacraments+avoid 7 vices+practice 7 (each) corporal & spiritual Mercies+pardoning+ love}
(4)Love is the mission statement of Catholicism -avoid Eros(selfish)+Phili(business) Love, practice agapa(God oriented) love. For this follow 6 preceding ethics that lead to christian Love
(5) Why Jesus, educate them in shallow waters, after that, HE asked them to go into Deep waters to catch fish. Why did not
HE opt to show good catch, in shallow waters?.There is a deep meaning!.
Any subject, more you reflect and practice, you get deep experience. More you practice, more experience you get.

Today, church invited us to reflect on 3 aspects: (1) why we should respect parents and look after them
(2)Christian principle of pardoning(unconditional)
(3) How you will have rebirth during this life


B. Preamble for today's reading:

B.1 Why we should worship God and respect parents?
You cannot decide from which parents that you will come to this world,only, God has decided. Your parents have accepted the request. They brought you up, to become learned person.
They have maintain,instruct,educate,given you necessary support to bring you up. Their duty on behalf of God, they have done. That is why you have to respect them and worship God.

B.2 Why parents have to look after you?

God Did not create baby Adam and baby Eve. He create adult Adam and Eve. They were given full freedom. Always freedom is subject to law. But they broke the law, resulting God to
(1) introduced  death to human
(2) Introduce fear and sorrow to human life
(3) Introduce childhood to human life(that is why we got baby Jesus)
(4) Responsibility of bringing Children, has been given to parents.
(5) Parents duty is to bring children to adulthood, with necessary support, until they(become independent) can directly follow the God's Will.

B.3: Children's responsibility towards parents:
Human life is of 3 major parts: childhood, adult hood and old age. Against childhood, old age a person, may not be able to carry out his own duties. God has given opportunity to look after your parents during their old age. By doing so,you will glorify God, for what your parents have done for you, to brought you up on behalf of God.


B.4. Paul's conversion: what iS modern conversion?
Paul was whole heatedly following Judaism. He was persecuting Christ followers. God shown him the path of salvation. How do get this kind of God's message today?
First, you have to be wholeheartedly with God, that means, you have to be sinless. This you can achieve by confession(with a priest- Jn 20:23).(2) Then you should develop a happy mind. How to do that? You should hand over your worries to Mary/ you should be healthy/ you should be efficient. (3) you should convert your Talents to energy.
With a Happy mind, when you move, God will change your path, if HE wished, by 3rd party/ change your job or accident. Etc.


B.4.1 Catholic rebirth

Jesus said"One cannot see Kingdom of God unless he is born again?(Jn3:3).
Christianity believes only of 1 birth (NO REBIRTHS).But during this life,you temporarily die due to sin(going against 7 Ethics).With pardoning process(REPENTANCE,CONFESSION &INDULGANCE)you will be reborn again. Hence Catholics are reborn during this life. You die with Sin &be born again with grace after pardoning. In life,you have many(temporary)births &deaths. But from one birth to next,(1cycle of pardoning) you have to get closer to God.

Another rebirth for U is when God change your life. It can be a sickness/accident/even change of jobs;
a TWIST in Ur life,BUT NOT THE END.

Since you are not used to this change, you may suffer.This will develop PATIENCE in U.If you have develop good faith(Praying Rosary &Sunday mass),you will manage this twist with PERSEVERANCE&HOPE. You will get to know the twist is for your own good.This is Catholic Rebirth!.

B.5 how to identify sin?
First, we have to be clear about what is Sin?. Going against 10 commandments:

 Thou shalt have no other Gods before Me/Thou shall not take name of Lord thy God in vain/ Keep holy Sabbath Day/Honour thy father& mother/thou shalt not kill(HUMANS)/Thou shall not commit adultery/Thou shall not steal/Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor/ Thou shall not covert thy neighbor's wife/Thou shalt not covert thy neighbors goods

Next steps to avoid 7 Vices!

AVOIDING 7 VICES!

Adam&eve,were fallen to trap of satan, by wanting to be like God.7vices lead you to be like God,unintentionally
(1)laziness(sloth)
(2)Anger: your strong feeling,that other is wrong
(3)Pride:Great an admiration of oneself:boasting,love for publicity,hyprocrisy,discord,hard headness,quarreling&disobedience/your OWN EGO,forgetting God
(4)envy:"WHY SHOULD NOT I HAVE EVERY THING THAT OTHERS HAVE?(when you forget God has created you for unique purpose)(5)lust:It is a disoriented love that seeks not other but individual pleasure& satisfaction for all your action(forget God,for achievements)
(6)avarice: lead us to be greedy& ends up with fraud,perjury,dishonesty& harshness
(7)gluttony:flows from disorderly animal appetite,obsession with food&drink to point of living to eat,rather than eating to live.

WHEN YOU FORGET GOD

                (2)FORGET PURPOSE OF U'R CREATION-you may attract towards these vices,unknownly

WHY WE SAY RESPECT PARENT AND WORSHIP GOD?

You cannot decide from which parents that you can come to this world. Only God chose your parents. They have been entrusted to bring you up. They treated you, when you are a baby, then they educated you, to become adult. You also have to do the same for your children.
That is why you respect parent and worship God. Respect means you have to look after the well being of your parents, specially when they are old, where sometimes it will be difficult for them to carry out their basic actions. Today 1st  and Gospel reading reminds, that God, brought life to 2 widows, who has lost their life due to death of their only son's. God primarily shows, that, the importance of looking after your parents, when they don't have strength and hope for living. By looking after your aged parents, not only you respect them, you glorify God, having given them to you!.

PAUL HISTORY AND HOW HE BECAME A SAINT!
Paul was a honest man, whole hearted following Judaism. That is why he started prosecuting Christian. God chosen him, to preach about His kingdom. He changed his life, to be the primary mouth piece of Christianity.
How God change your life. No 1 is your actions has to be whole hearted, to glorify God, without ulterior motive or persona, towards earth bound attractions. Then you have to follow the 7 ethics of catholism. Always be grace with God, after having pardoning process. You will have peaceful mind: from there you have to develop happy mind, by handing over your worries to Mary and saints+healthy(drink water,do exercise+use latest tecknology(be efficient). On the other side, you try to convert your God given talent to energy. WITH HAPPY MIND, WHEN YOU USE YOUR ENERGY FOR SOCIETY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, your are following the God's will. What ever the difficulty you might come across, you patiently suffer those difficulties, without losing perseverance and hope for God. You have seen all these characters in the life of St Paul.

HOW MANY TIMES, YOU WERE DEAD, IN YOUR LIFE?

Human are prune to Sin. Like the gravitational pull towards earth, you are always align to sin. Like growing weed in your garden. First problem you have to resolve is to identify weed, when you want to have good Garden. Similarly you have to be clear, what causes sin for you! Be clear about 10 commandments and see how you are applying it in to your life. When you don't know the commandments, it is like you like to have good garden, but you don't know what are the weeds to remove.
When you sin, spiritually you become death. This will cause fear and sorrow to be increased in your life. When you identify the sin and carry on the pardoning process(REPENT,CONFESSION, INDULGANCE) your effect of sin(GUILT and PUNISHMENT) is removed. You become spiritually live again. Christian life is always you sin and have pardon, with every pardoning process, you will become more closer to God.

Back ground:
After Easter, we have celebrated 4 feasts;
(1) Ascension (2) Holy Spirit(3)holy Trinity and today (4) Corpus Christie. Why these 4 feast are commonly celebrated in all 3 cycles?,after Easter?

In conclusions, we will be analyzing in detail:

Today, we celebrate Most Holy Blood and Body of Jesus Christ. What is the relevance of this to our life. CATHOLIC BELIEVE REAL PRESENCE OF GOD IN HOLY EUCHRIST. Is it scientific? Can you believe?

B.Pre amble for todays readings:

B.1 Fr Peter,German Priest was doubting  the conversion of bread & wine, into the Body & Blood of Christ at the moment of consecration in mass. While he was traveling,he stayed at Bolsena (Italy) was celebrating mass:

The HOST when he broke for communion,appeared be spattered with blood & bleed into the corporal,the small cloth upon which the Host & chalice rest during the cannon of mass.

After this,in1264,Pope Urban 4 institute the feast, Corpus Christi. You can see the blood stained corporal in the church of St Christina. After 700 years Pope Paul 6 celebrated this feast in the same alter.

Other Evidences:

In 1830,at Holy Mass, St Catherine Laboure PHYSICALLY SAW CHRIST at the HOST. You can see her in corrupt body in Paris.


B.2 why Jesus Body and Blood is needed for us?
Basic needs for us to live, we need EARTH,WATER,AIR,SUNLIGHT and FOOD. These 5 elements are needed for any living being(Human,Animal and trees). For human, other than food, all other elements are given FREE OF CHARGE. Only food you have to earn.
Food, normally you have to prepare, cook,taste and allow it to digest, so that food will be converted to energy, for you to work. Tying a loaf of meat into your arm will not transfer energy, but for that you have to cook,taste and eat,
Similarly, Holy Eucharist is given by God, for our spiritual nourishment. We have to search for HIM, be prepared to receive HIM, eat and Digest HIM. This resembles the normal phenomena of food.

B.3 What God has promised those who are believing HIM?

When you surrender your Will to God, He will ensure HAPPINESS in you life. How to Surrender?

 2 methods

(1) Sin less(Without guilt). After Repentance +confessions with Priest(Jn 20:23), you are free of guilt, then you can be in grace, with Receiving Eucharist. This will lead a peaceful life for you. Then to lead a happy life, you have to have 3 steps (a) worriless mind, hand over your worries to Mary+saints(Jn2)(b) be healthy(drink water+do exercise)(c) be efficient(try to use latest technology)

(2) Sometimes with your happy mind, if God wanted to change your life. HE will change direction of your life, which lead you to suffer, causing you to develop patience. Don't lose the perseverance and hope with God, to see at last the Happiness. This is the way that God, Changes HIS WILL to your will.

B.3 After developing Happy mind, then what you should do?
Happiness is God's gift for you. In return what you should give to HIM? You should develop your God given talent to energy to serve Society for the love of God.

B.4 How to convert your talent to energy?

Every human in this world is born with atleast with one talent. Talent has to be converted to skills,by repeated practices. Then you gain knowledge on that subject. you will disseminate knowledge to society thru' Hard work. Finally you develop good attitude.

You CAN ALTER U'R LIFE BY ALTERING your ATTITUDES.
Assuming each letter in alphabet has a value equals to its sequence:A=1,B=2..Z=26etc. TALENT =72,SKILLS=82,KNOWLEDGE=96, HARD WORK=98,ATTITUDE=100.your attitude,

Your attitude will become thoughts; Your thoughts will become words, your word will become actions,Your actions,will become HABBIT. It will become your personality. Right attitude produce right actions.

When you know your talent is given by God, you develop all steps above for LOVE OF GOD=101; you will see Miracle, like the boy who gave 5 loaves and 2 fish, as shown in today's miracle.

Hence ATTITUDE with LOVE OF GOD will put you top,while hard work&knowledge will get You closer.

One talent can generate many more skills
CORRECT ATTITUDE OF PEOPLE IS VITAL,FOR A DEVELOPMENT OF ANY COUNTRY!.when you are lazy, then you always get angry, you cannot convert your Talent to skills. More you develop your skills,you get knowledge of that subject.(Avoid pride+Egotism). With the correct knowledge, work hard for the society, for LOVE OF GOD,for correct ATTITUDE to enjoy wisdom+generosity of U'r Life.
You can do wonders!
Wonder's means, normally, you cannot expect that output. God lead you to make wonders,(miracles) which in logical or scientific thinking you cannot expect that output.

Miracle: an action or event that is impossible according to ordinary laws of nature, believed to be done by God.

(6) Shows us the difference between, other God fearing religions to Christianity. 1 God with 3 person ex water/ you get liquid,vapor and ice.
(7) For the Pardoning Process, Father and Son shows us(thru' Israelis), 10 Commandments with Love and forgiving
Holy Spirit form the process of Pardoning REPENTANCE,CONFESSION and INDULGENCE

D. From church

(8) Christian faith is to train how to surrender your will to God'S will. For that you need spiritual Nourishments: Confession with priest(jn 20:23)+Eucharist(real pesence of God), for you to in grace with God
(9) When you are in grace God can change your Will, then you will undergo, SUFFERING,develop PATIENCE, while keeping PERSEVERNCE and HOPE with God.
(10) You Should develop a happy mind to love the Society. For that, first develop peaceful mind, then develop happy mind, by handing over your worries to Mary and saints, then with good health and carry out action efficiently, you develop a happy mind.

WHY JESUS IS GIVING US HIS BLOOD and BODY FOR YOU?

Food is one of the basic needs of human. Food you have to prepare, cook, taste and allow it to digest to produce energy in your body. Similarly, with sin, your body become sick, after repentance and confession with priest, you are removing the guilt of sin, then God will come to your body, thru' Eucharist, as a special spiritual nourishment. How far it is close to real lifen it resemble physical nourishment with spiritual nourishment!
It is a real application!

How to convert your talent to energy?

(7) For the Pardoning Process, Father and Son shows us(thru' Israelis), 10 Commandments with Love and forgiving
Holy Spirit form the process of Pardoning REPENTANCE,CONFESSION and INDULGENCE

D. From church

(8) Christian faith is to train how to surrender your will to God'S will. For that you need spiritual Nourishments: Confession with priest(jn20:23)+Eucharist(real pesence of God), for you to in grace with God
(9) When you are in grace God can change your Will, then you will undergo, SUFFERING,develop PATIENCE, while keeping PERSEVERNCE and HOPE with God.
(10) You Should develop a happy mind to love the Society. For that, first develop peaceful mind, then develop happy mind, by handing over your worries to Mary and saints, then with good health and carry out action efficiently, you develop a happy mind.

BE CLEAR ABOUT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CATHOLISM TO OTHER RELIGIONS, WHILE RESPECTING THEM.
