17th Sunday Ordinary/cycle1/27-jul-2014/ WISE CATHOLIC - in detail

Back ground:  During this month,all sunday readings  were focused(1) how to develop ourselves(soil), by controlling anger & judging others,(2) how to preserve our energy for a happy life!.(3) how to develop church activities(seed), in order to extend the good message to the people. This too become challenging due to dynamic nature of the paradigm change of human life from scientific & social development.

Today focus is outcome of  practicing Jesus new teachings to your life!. Ie
You are always be happy during this life too!
Christianity leads you to positively think about your life, since you develop relationship with God thru' mary/saints and you know that you are NOT ALONE in your life. You will never feel DEPRESSED!

Pre amble for today's reading:
B Freedom:
Freedom is what you OUGHT to do!, NOT what ever you want to do. Human freedom is having 3 parts. EXTERNAL freedom- Government regulations(law), INTERNAL freedom- follow 10 commandments(you should NOT entertain any thought in your mind to go against this). PERSONAL freedom is where you operate to reach your HAPPINESS. Christianity demand a very simple action to enjoy your life!.

(1) Follow 10 commandments with NO ENEMIES(internal freedom)

In your personal freedom
(2) Charity
(3) follow God's will
(4) avoid anger
(5) avoid judging others(the above 4& 5 will help you to follow 3))
(6) for your disagreements,fear & sorrow, hand over to Mary/Joseph or saints/ carry out those actions happily without hating but with Love.



B.1 Happiness:

Easy way to enjoy the life is to follow & practice simple method given by Christianity!. You start aware about your life. When you are driving a car, you follow traffic rules, at the same time you aware who are traveling with you & chat with them without loosing attention of the road!. Similarly you are created by God to be HAPPY in your life. You are the driver, road is HAPPINESS, rule to follow is Jesus teaching, who are inside your car, your family, society & the world!



B.2 Fear & sorrow:

fear & sorrow can reach you from 3 categories:
(1) From yourself due to illness or lack of money etc.
(2) From outside: from your family/society- due to disagreements with others
(3) From a natural disaster: like earth quake/tsunami,flood etc
 We should be clear how to treat all above from the Catholicism.

For above (1) we should take necessary precautions from the available method(if you are sick, go to a doctor) & hand over that fear to Holy Mary/saints: they will find you a good doctor, good medicine etc to clear your disease!

For above(2) everybody is conditioned in this world from their life experiences. What I think correct, may not be correct.
Disagreements are ever increasing due to increase of "ability to chose". For example if I ask you to buy a piece of soap from a supermarket, you might bring a soap which I don't like! So the present society "ability chose function becoming much more complicated and it allows to increase DISAGREEMENTS even from minor matters!

When there is disagreement, try to curb anger, and forget that incident quickly, if you feel that you are forced to do that, do this thinking Jesus word' if anybody ask you to carry one mile, carry 2 mile'. This you have to do with LOVE not by hating or wishing other person something bad to happen. These incidents you have to hand over to God. God knows all the outcomes. HE will do the necessary remedial action for your happiness. This is very simple method of action, one should train,as a catholic, to realize HAPPINESS.

Unless you train to carry out God's will it will be difficult to carry out in this way neither you will understand this is practically possible. This is the JOY OF A CHRISTIAN, always he is being looked after by God, Virgin Mary,St Joseph & Saints!.(Very difficult for non christian to understand).

(3)When you are a victim of a natural disaster, you cannot reconcile why it has happened to you. Under this scenario, you should hand over all your sorrows/fears to thru' saints(select your favorite saints) thru St Joseph, thru' Holy Mary to God!
You allow God to act on you, for solutions, while you take necessary steps worldly, to recover. God like a divine doctor, operate to recover such spiritually in your body!.during this 'SPIRITUAL DARKNESS' period(like floating in swimming) God will show path for HAPPINESS!

B.3 why we should follow God's will/ what do you mean by POWERFUL PERSON ?

In normal terms POWERFUL means a person who is able to control and influence events of other people's action. If a powerful person having a head ache, can he remove by himself that pain or if he has having a bad knee, can he replace by himself? No.
So God is ultimate power source. God can overcome space,energy & time! He is eternal!.

B.4, analogy of our normal life!

Following story, which happened in 1950's in the city of New york.
Three friends booked 3 rooms in a hotel, and they were given 3 rooms in the 45 th floor.

 They went outside for a party and came in mid night.
The receptionist in the hotel told' sorry sirs, our lift is not working, I can arrange 3 beds in the ground floor'
 The 3 friends who has enjoyed good wine, boasted, o..h don't worry, we can climb up to our rooms
The 3 friends agreed, first 15 floors, one will sing songs, next 15 floors another will tell happy stories, the other will  tell sad stories, during the last 15 floors.

As agreed all 3 friends climb upto 30 floors. The other 2 requested the last to tell the sad stories. After a hesitation the last man is telling " oh! WE FORGOT THE ROOM KEYS"

In this story we are reminded the main segments of our life
Young & youth life
Middle life
Old age life

If we forget the keys we have to climb down, which we start fearing as to how to go back and climb again.
So what is the meaning of the key?

WE SHOULD ENJOY OUR TIME HAPPILY!
Otherwise we will always stay in past remembering history only!

Book of kings remind us how king Solomon sunday/augustbecame wise!.
Paul guarantees that those who follow Jesus, God shares His glory with Him.

Gospel; Mt: 13:44-54. Talks about the outcome Christianity
THE KINDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE TREASURE HIDDEN IN A FIELD WHICH SOMEONE HAS FOUNDM HE HIDES IT AGAIN & GOES OFF HAPPY, SELLS EVERY THING HE OWNS AND BUYS THE FIELD"

To realize above, JESUS has showed us a practical example:

Jesus Example:
In His final summary to God, Jesus did not relate even 1 miracle (Jn17) that He performed.(Raising dead, turning water to wine,multiplying loves+fish,reducing no of sick leave thru' my territory) He did not say" I've left construction of the temple in the capable hands & it should be finished by May" nor did He say"I've double no of your recruits here & you will note offerings are up in 3 fold" instead He listed His people as His great accomplishments"As a proof of my good work here, I present to you, PETER, JAMES...MARY, MARY MAGDALENE & MARTHA etc completed in LOVE-JESUS.
Only tangible thing Jesus left for us was tattered garment with many people like peter....martha etc.

To realize into your life:
Everybody in this world eager to lead a HAPPY life. Your life is like a river. Flow of water is your happiness(how you develop your mind+ how you develop ability to chose). Flow of water has to go to sea, without any leakage(sea is similar to heaven). 2 banks of the river are the discipline you maintained (from breathing) your physical body & how to balance worldly requirements(from gravitational force) of Money, Power & Sex!. Christianity provide easy solution to realize HAPPINESS, to convert your born talents into energy!. Simple method is to follow the God's will, since God's is your creator! & He has created you to lead a happy life!.





Conclusion:
C.1 GOD IS EVERY WHERE!
God is everywhere & we need to look for Him. Look, but really look, as it for the first time at the face of a friend, a tree or a bird etc, the behavior and the mannerism of the people around you!. Really see them and hopefully you will see them as they are, not as you had been seeing with your mind clouded with Prejudices & Judgments!. The remembrance of God in all our daily activities elevates us in our life!
Whatever we do, we do for God and raise our whole being to Him, at every moment of our life(cf. 1Cor 10.31)cv

C.3 AREAS THAT CHRISTIANITY HELP YOU TO DEVELOP!
Jesus has shown us to develop 3 categories of strengths:
Strength of self mastery
Strength of action
Strength of relationship
Your success in life required combination of all 3 above. Ex: A physician who has self mastery and action skills, but lack of relationship skills, will be limited in his carrier! Or a politician who has relationship and action skills, but lack in the area of self mastery will be not successful! To be a wise catholic, to enjoy the anticipated out put of happiness, he should be aware in all these 3 areas to become WISE!. Christianity provide very simple learning to be a wise man!

St. James the greater(25/7)& HOPE - in summary

James(1st apostle to be martyred!) And his brother John(evangelist) were 1st cousins of Jesus and were in partnership with Peter for fishing!.PETER,JAMES & JOHN were only to witness Jesus' 

(1)raising of life, daughter of Jairus

(2)His tranfiguration

(3)His agony in garden.

Hence they symbolize FAITH,HOPE &CHARITY!.

Your prayer can be  disturbed with images & thoughts. Unless you silence your memory you will not be able to Pray!.MEMORY CAN ONLY BE SILENCE THRU' Hopeful need to consciously examine images which disturb praying!.If memory project a person,then stop examine personally why he comes to your mind?,when you know the reason,you can controll and can pray for various needs of that person or just lead the person to GOD.THIS IS WHAT WE MEAN BY HOPE. Martha complaining against Maria which shows when U miss"LOVE"U try to judge who is duty full & start complaining! Jesus saw judging others as MAJOR ENERGY LEAK.He stated many times He did not come to judge but rather to help.People with unlimited free time will involve in activities that ruin their health/peace of mind!like judging others!.Which means;(1)Unnecessary monitoring about others activities & forming U'r own opinions(2)Base on U'r opinion,U expect others bad to happen.Mt:13:24-43 growing of wheat and darnet Jesus said" ....LET THEM BOTH GROW TILL HARVEST;AND AT HARVEST TIME I SHALL SAY TO REAPERS;FIRST COLLECT DARNET &TIE IT IN BUNDLES TO BE BURNT,THEN GATHER WHEAT IN TO MY BARN"Book of wisdom remind how God acts on us!Paul says that plea of God fearing people will be lead by Holy spirit. 16th Sunday Ordinary/cycle1/20-jul-2014/ JUDGING CATHOLIC - in detail

Back ground: last 2 sundays, we reflected about how to(1) control Anger,(2) our responsibility to develop church(seed), and (3)how we should develop our life(soil)to be a RICH CATHOLIC.
Today our attention is drawn to another main subject that we should be cautious to reach our HAPPINESS, JUDGING OTHERS!. I may think I am correct, according to my conditioning and critical about others action!. Martha complaining against Maria is a famous case which shows when you miss "LOVE" you try to judge who is duty full & start complaining!

Great sayings to think:

B. Preamble to today's reading:

B.1 Challenge:
According to pope FRANCIS" The Joy Of The Gospel" para 84 quote part
" OUR FAITH IS CHALLENGED TO DISCERN HOW WINE CAN COME FROM WATER AND WHEAT CAN GROW IN THE MIDST OF WEED"

B.2 Guarding your Energy!

Your life is like flowing of a river. Soul resembles the water flow, while 2 river banks resembles your health & your happiness(how you balance worldly attachments Sex, Money, Power). River banks have to be well built in order not to have water leaks resulting reducing energy of the water flow!. Good habit allow you to make good bunts. You need to develop discipline for that!.

Example: everyday morning praying rosary and doing physical exercise to maintain your body/ developing pardoning in your soul, when anger comes, remember jesus word,pardon not only 7 times but 777 times! and quench anger from your mind etc.

Shortsighted human!

Look for instance, people who have large amount of money, many of them mange to disappear rather quickly!.likewise people who have unlimited free time often find themselves involve in activities that ruin their health or peace of mind!.HAVING TOO MUCH CAN SOMETIMES BE AS MUCH OF A BURDEN AS HAVING TOO LITTLE! Jesus had tremendous energy,and he knew how to direct it. He was so clear about His mission that He avoided many real and energy leaks! For example, even though He was a teacher, he refused to engage in a meaningless debates with people who wanted not to learn but to argue!.Even at His trial,He did not waste time or energy in what He knew would be a meaningless defense!. Jesus was so aware of His energy that once when a woman reached out and grabbed his clothes in the middle of a crowd, He turned around and asked"Who touches Me?" How many energy leaks do we have in our daily lives?  Angry words,distraction, tampering in someone else business, etc.

B.3 Judging others
Jesus saw judging others as a major energy leak. He stated many times He did not come to judge but that He came to help. He said" I do not judge you, your own words judge you"
He knew our accountability. He trusted each of us with our choices!. Judgment inhibit your own progress!. Jesus said to Peter"what business is it of yours, what I say to John" KEEP YOUR EYES ON YOUR OWN FORWARD MOTION. Jesus did not waste His time or energy JUDGING OTHERS.


B.4 Judging:

External Freedom:
 judgment involves 3 party's. Law enforcing orgernisation such as police+ accused+ judge. In external freedom, when you break  law, normally police will file a case in court & judge will give a ruling whether your are guilty or not!.

Internal Freedom:
In the case of internal freedom, you avoid even to entertain a thinking in your mind which is against religious laws.(Hence religious laws has to be very clear with unambiguous meanings, in the case of christianity it is 10 commandments).

Personal freedom
In the case of personal freedom, people used to judge others based on their experience! People who are having free time, always tend to judge others as a un notice hobby, and form mostly negative feelings in their mind!.

Judging from Gospel:
Mat:7 is very clear on judging others!,  why you are worried about a dust in others eye, where there is a plank in your eye!. Judging others produced you a silence anger in your body. You tend to reject people without knowing all factors fully!. This is more common disease seen in developing countries!, where people have very much unproductive time which leads to gossiping. They become so used to it, like axima (scratching disease), you are happy while you are scratching,and once finish scratching you are suffering like a burn!

Ex:
Cackling effect!(Cackle- when a chicken cackles,it makes a loud unplesant sound!)

More common in developing countries!. One day at 1pm,My next door neighbor(anti) shouted my mother, telling that there are 10 eggs in our den(hen poultry).Neither my mother  nor she has not gone to the den. When my mother checked number of eggs, she exactly found 10 eggs!. How did my next door neighbor counted the no of eggs?. WHEN HEN LAY AN EGG,HEN CACLE(kok...kok...). My next door anti though she was busy at her kitchen preparing meals, her ear was focus to my house. She counted a number of cackling, ex: 8 o'clock-1, 830-2 so on so fourth..... She could not kept only to her the  total number, that is why she shouted the total number of eggs to my mother.
Now my aunt, judge the income of our house. She count 1 egg, 10 rupees, per day our income 300 rupees. Per month 9000 rs.
When we brought a TV for 20000 rs, she found it is impossible to buy this from our income. So she judge that we are stealing. from somebody to get additional income! So she publicized in the villege that we are thieves!
This is very common symptom that we can observe in developing countries!
"UNWANTED OBSEVATION OF OTHER'S PERSONAL FREEDOM ACTIVITEES" leading to boil your own blood, making you jealousy leading to anger, blocking God's will.

B.5 Hating others!
we form opinions of others, without knowing all the factors!. We start hating them. When we cannot do anything directly to them,we curse them and wish them something bad to happen. Though we see we are deriving mental satisfaction, in this process, we are ruining ourselves, since the anticipated outcome that we expect, we cannot practically see. Rather we will be discouraged to see their success in their lives!.

B.6 Judging others in summary:

(1) Unnecessary monitoring about others activities & forming your own opinions(crackling)
(2) Base on your opinion, you anticipate others, something bad to happen
(3)Overall we try to dictate happiness/sorrows/punishment of others- try to be like God for others activities, without our knowledge- and find that only myself is feeling sick!

Paul says that plea of god fearing people will be lead by Holy spirit
Gospel Mt: 13:24-43 growing of wheat and darnet Jesus said" ....LET THEM BOTH GROW TILL THE HARVEST; AND AT THE HARVEST TIME I SHALL SAY TO THE REAPERS; FIRST COLLECT DARNET AND TIE IT IN BUNDLES TO BE BURNT, THEN GATHER THE WHEAT IN TO MY BARN" talk about the nature of God's hand in to our lives. We cannot judge the out come of bad people(whom we think), God will decide at the correct time as to what to do?. Explaining the parable, Jesus answers most of the practical questions ask to day! Why God allow these wicked thing to happened or can we curse anybody for any misgiving?


Conclusion:
By telling that God will look after what to do with bad people, Jesus is clear, that judging of others (deriving from personal freedom) is not belongs to us! Due to(1) our judgment is based on our own conditioning(2)we curse others, thinking our words will make harm to them but the harm is actually to ourselves.
Judging of external freedom(government law, belongs to a well define process make by each country) belongs to Governments (normally 3 parties (police/accused,involve with independent judge). Internal freedom by yourself. Treatment for this is sacrament of confession!.
By controlling Anger and avoiding Judging others, your energy will be preserved. Then your water flow of life river is flowing without any leaks!to sea which is heaven.

A. Back ground:

last sunday we reflected about how to develop our soul, to handle Anger. Anger if we cannot develop to quench by pardoning,will add many other unwanted disagreements to cause a simple misunderstanding to grow like a "BUSH FIRE"blocking "GOD'S WILL" for you,and further you create another person angry. That why Jesus said"PARDON NOT 7 TIMES, NOT 77 TIMES, BUT 777". ANGER is a major disease to loose HAPPINESS of our life!. That is why we always say "PEACE BE WITH YOU"
We cannot be a good christian if we don't develop mental power to quench anger.

Today, all readings concentrate about how to (1) extend the good news for all generations
(2) Be a rich catholic follower of Jesus, to enjoy your life!

 "The highest reward for man's dedication to excellence is not what he gets from it, but what he becomes through it."

Happiness:

outcome of christianity is to lead a happy life. Fear,sorrow are normal in life. Christianity teaches us a practical method of reducing fear & sorrow, in our life to reach happiness in a practical way. It trains  to establish link with God & saints. It is highly personal to you. When you know the subject, establish connection with God,Mary,Joseph & saint's,you are not dependent with the action of clergy or any other christian for your happy life!. In your life you can wear many hats, but changing the hat, you will not increase your capacity to think!. Clergy or your friends will help you to further your link with God, to enhance Happiness in your life! But their actions are going to be independent to your faith!

This reminds what Jesus said Mt 10:32"... Whoever acknowledges ME before men, I will acknowledge him before MY FATHER in heaven. But whoever disown me before men, I will disown him before MY FATHER in heaven"
It is not important, how you get the teachings of Jesus but how you practically establish link with God, to follow His will & practically observe that you are reducing fear & sorrow in your life.

Church:
Without a basic unit of family, there is no society!. Similarly church will pass the good message of Jesus, throughout the human generations!.

Jesus Christ himself has formed the church. Church has well defined structure to carry the Jesus message until the end of the world!. It has 3 major functional units. Cannon law is for administration, Catechism is to explain the subject. Curia is to handle financial activities
The present challenge of church pope francis spoke about:
Pope Francis in His "Joy Of The Gospel" talks about "Isolation" of the church from the people says(quote part of sect 89:)
"UNLESS THESE PEOPLE FIND IN THE CHURCH A SPIRITUALITY WHICH CAN OFFER HEALING AND LIBERATION,AND ALL OF THEM WITH LIFE AND PEACE, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME SUMMONING THEM TO FRATERNAL COMMUNION AND MISSIONARY FRUITFULLNESS,THEY WILL END UP BY BEING TAKEN IN BY SOLUTIONS WHICH NEITHER MAKE LIFE TRULY HUMAN NOR GIVE GLORY TO GOD"

Root-less faith
At school we start learning, at universities we further that learning,in the society we practice the learning and develop an faith on that learning. Similarly, christianity we learn from school or sunday school, we get root-less knowledge. At sunday mass we develop that knowledge, apply practically in leading our life. The mysteries we learn from childhood, will no longer a mystery when you start focusing on that subject and start analyzing.
You study biology at school but that is not at all sufficient enough for you to become a medical doctor. You focus more to become a doctor, similarly if you want to become a specialist, you focus much more on your doctor knowledge. As a specialist you don't stop learning. You start practicing the subject to cure people. You star learning new scientific developments on the subject.

Christianity is similar to that, the more you start focusing(easy method is sunday reading) more you unfold so called Mysteries learn from school!.

You become a catholic who has surrendered your will to God's will with FULL FAITH
YOU WILL ENJOY YOUR LIFE AS ANTICIPATED FROM CATHOLISM.
SUCCESS OF YOUR LIFE IS CONSTANT ORIENTATION OF YOUR WILL TOWARDS THAT DIRECTION!


Sex:
Sex become vital element in day to day life!. Hence it is important to analyze this in more depth!
When sexual pleasure becomes primary goal or object of a person's desire,it is sinful. Essence of proper sexuality resides within the permanent and faithful covenant of marriege whose union is originated to Love(unity) and Life(procreation).
Selfish sex is Sinful & harmful because it goes against nature of human sexuality, Unlike other human functions like eating, which can be both physically necessary & psychologically/ socially desirable. Human sex is necessary for human race but not for individual. Person needs to breath,to eat,to sleep but a person does not need SEX. Person can have sex if he is married & if he uses it as an intimate sign of giving of SELF,BODY & SOUL to his beloved spouse. Otherwise,it becomes merely an act of self stimulation & there is no giving of self-instead it is taking of self!.The unitive (love) & pro creative(life) elements are 2 lungs that work together. Isolating or separating one from the other is often a self inflicted wound on the person. The damage may not be immediately recognizable,yet the long term effect is HIGHLY DESTRUCTIVE!
Freedom is always subject to law!. God created human with freedom subject to not to have sex. Human betrayed!. Then Jesus gave us back freedom subject to LOVE
Accention of jesus, assumption & immaculate conception of Mary is always connected, since jesus is having a verginal birth!

Gospel:
Seed is the word of God. God has been sowing His sacred word in human hearts all thru' history. God's word has a mysterious power& it has never lost that power,but word,the seed without rich soil, in which to take root in individual human mind, will not bear fruits! Or deprived Happiness in individuals life!. At birth, we start breathing, subject to gravitation and start developing our soul. If your life is flowing like a river(soul), the 2 bunts of the river is your health(enhancement of breathing) and how you balance worldly appetite of SEX-regeneration,MONEY-assets,POWER-ego, which is given in christianity. If the bunts are not developed(your own discipline) water will leak thru' these bunts, depriving a good flow of water(happiness).




In summary:
 Mt:13:1-23 parable is talks about seed(church) as well as soil. Seed: the action of church to reach people. Here church means all baptized catholics. Seed-It is about kind of soil that we are,about our receptivity to the seed. It is also about fertilizer,without which even good soil becomes fruitless

For example it has become very difficult today to find trained parish catchiest willing to persevere in the work for some years. Something similar is also happening with priest who are obsessed with protecting their free time. This is frequently due to the fact that people feel that over bearing need to guard their personal freedom, as though the task of evangelization was a dangerous poison rather than a joyful response to the God's love which summons us to mission and makes us fulfill & productive. Some resist giving themselves over complete to mission & thus end up in a state of paralysis & acedia.

D.2. Good message & carriers!

While appreciating the church efforts to reach the good news of happiness, we have to alerted about negative examples, set by few of clergy tends to undermine the good message in peoples mind. These turn over people have shallow knowledge of christianity,their happiness will depend upon certain poor actions of few of clergy! It is like you try to change your handwriting by changing the pen or that you change your capacity to think by changing your hat. The knowledge gain about establishing a link with God is independent of clergy individual behavior and this can be achieved in many ways through the modern social electronic network systems. Practicing sacraments we need clergies assistance!.

D.3 Problem at a glance!

We see the problem is 2 fold. In developed countries, it is difficult to find lay people & very few of clergy set a bad example(due to present information explosion era, a minor fault get amplified to provide negative publicity) though in developing countries, the participatory role of lay people is not properly synergise by the church authorities, where church has become a PRIEST KINDOM! Or ice burger,isolating from laymen & other clergy!


D.4. Gap analysis

Human paradigm has been changing from each revolution from Agriculture, printing, industrial & now Communication. In future we can expect transport & energy revolutions where we will see people travel by driver less cars,helicopter instead of overland cars and various type of energy sources like solar,Ethonol etc. Efficiency of human being is increasing from each revolution(no of works that can be done for a unit time is efficiency). With the increase of efficiency human have to find new ways of listening to God, since there are many distraction to human mind

Since the purpose or outcome of christianity is to achieve Happiness in this life as well as outside this world(time base happiness in this life-river,eternal in heaven-sea), methods adopted by the church has to be reviewed in the eyes of new ways of living stemming from the scientific advancement of the world!. Highlighting what are the basic needs to live for human is important. Earth,air,sunlight, water are basic needs but not SEX.
Without SEX you can live!. This is reality! Introduction of birth control has changed the culture of basic social unit of family. living together,Gay marriages, abortion are immediate results that can be seen!. Thinking pattern has been greatly influenced by communication revolution. Web sites, face book, blogspots & twitter are already become common social media's. While TV is having advanced features!. In time to come you can observe smell thru' tv & telephones!

Under this scenario, one has to identify the Gap in between GODS KINDOM to PRESENT SOCIETY & find solution to bridge the GAP.

In general 2/3 of the world population, believes God Concept & christian become 1/3. If we can make CATHOLIC - HAPPY CATHOLIC, major problem can be solved & by example to all other people tend to follow if they see HAPPY CATOHLIC.

S-strength-you are created to live HAPPILY

W- weakness-due to original sin,death & sorrow came,human can go against 10 commandments,as well as God's will to you(sin)/

O-Opportunity-thru'Baptism-remedy for original sin, thru' Confession remedy for Sin/

T-Threat- without your knowledge your Will supersede God's Will. You can lead a happy life with SWOT analysis.

 D.6 SWOT analysis of our CHURCH

S- Strength-
 church has a good administration structure, well defined process for sacraments, Good cannon law, good documented catechism & reading on Holy Mass.
Sunday mass is obligatory for catholics!.

W- weakness
Church has yet to do many things to pass the good message to people. Today is a information explosion society. We train our catholics, from school,sunday classes, preparation for first holy communion, preparation for confirmation, preparation for marriages, homily at sunday mass. All these areas administratively there are good concepts and records BUT INSIDE THESE PROCESSES ACTUAL SUBJECT MATTER HAS BECOME COMPLEX(there are 2 teaching methods- one is to teach clearly, so that all people to understand, other one is confused method of teaching- just to understand only for the teacher- sometimes one might feel whether the church follows 2nd method. It is true that clergy has devoted their life to promote God's Kingdom, but if they are lazy/too busy to read and acquire knowledge, how can they teach/preach!, in a widely changing environment!.

Church has many Peters but less Pauls.

O- opportunity
Majority of people in the world are Christians. Most of them appears to be name sake. Before depleting too much, new method using all latest social media's such as web sites, face book, blog's, twitter, tv, telephones to used. With what?
Clearly define subject matter, explaining simple methods of achieving the said goals in each of the following
school,sunday classes, preparation for first holy communion, preparation for confirmation, preparation for marriege, homily at sunday mass.
For example: Addressing clearly:
(1) Difference between old & new testament
(2) What was changed by jesus
(3) Conceptual difference between religions
(4)Clear application of 10 commandments/ specially for children
(5)Different learning from school, every sunday, there should be a clearly defined subject matter to analyze(otherwise what you learn from school, never expand, ultimately you become a poor practicing catholic with varying mind, and cannot find solutions to the problems you face in life) sunday homily the 3 readings has to be clearly explain, to convince Jesus new message of LOVE!
(6) Have a good common document to prepare children for confirmation!(Since they become adult in Catholicism)(uniformly)
(7) Similarly, have a good document for marriege preparation(country/ region wise)
(8) How to differentiate your will from God's will(practical application for family, work place and society)
Church can prepare small vedios to explain above in U- tube/ blogs etc to be used!

T- Threat- there is a severe threat, deriving from advancement of science, & efficient method of achieving worldly gravitational benefits deriving from money, power & sex, depriving overall happiness of not balancing all these 3, with spiritual gravitation HOPE,CHARITY,FAITH.
The pleasure seeking attitude in life cannot help us to become partners with God!. The desire for pleasure is a good thing in life. LIFE WILL BE SAPLESS WITHOUT IT! What is dangerous is inordinate craving of it. Jesus advocates a life that is simple. He is conscious about the dangers of riches,sex and money!.

At last, we have to make Catholic to HAPPY KNOWLEGABLE CATHOLIC, to change this world towards God!
